I finally read Crescent City...here are my thoughts 🫤 [spoiler free + spoilers] 

Am I ever gunna read these books? No. Am I gunna know what you’re talking about? No, but am I gunna watch this whole video? Yes 😂

I couldn’t agree MORE about the short summary on the back. I read it and then totally forgot it, and read the book a few months later. When *that event* happened I was like omg wow, and then I reread the summary and was like wow that’s stupid 😂

I had bought this book last year and couldn't really get into it. recently I started listening to The Reading Hag Returns here on RU-vid and started listening to Crescent City and just fell in love with the book and finally finished it. I think Bryce is my absolute favorite S.J. Maas character.

The ending of the second book is definitely mind blowing, I am glad that you have enjoyed them and thank you for sharing the experience.

Oh my god I had the exact same thoughts as you did about both books. Both were 5 star reads for me but I definitely loved the first book more. But these books were the first and only Sarah J Maas books I have ever read so I didn't really feel the same about the ending of the second book that most people did. I think I was just mostly confused and intrigued and I feel like I'm missing out on a lot. But one of my reading plans for this year is to read TOG and ACOTAR, after which I plan on rereading both books in the Crescent City series. I've already bought a boxed set of TOG and can't wait to dive in to it.

Crescent City is my favorite of SJM series and that is saying a lot cause I loved the other two so so much.
