I'm constantly astounded by Mark's inventiveness and, as you say, resilience. He is a true antidote for the generally "entitled" young adults in the UK (and, I suspect, elsewhere in the 1st world).
@nikolatesla5553
@nikolatesla5553 Год назад
@@sailingmoonshadow3169 I don't understand why you need to criticize others? Sure there are entitled individuals out there. But not everyone has the same resources available to them. And by that I mean supportive parents that make him feel he can do it. If today's generation is failing, the blame really goes towards the generation that raised them.
@PastorwithoutaPulpit

@@nikolatesla5553 Two words: Personal Responsibility. Your comment demonstrates perfectly how that's lacking today in those of all ages. Oh I didn't have this or I didn't have that because parents or this or that excuse. Maybe step up and take responsibility for your actions and create the change you want in your life. If you want something go after it, pray for it, and don't let any excuse stand in your way because with hard work, devotion to the task and perseverance anything is possible... As He tells us all things are possible thru Him. God Bless...

@@PastorwithoutaPulpit Say what you want, but children are the product of their parents and the environment they were raised. I think a far larger problem in this world is people born with everything thinking the reason they succeeded was because they are somehow better. Thinking they are Babe Ruth because they scored in life. Never mind that they were born on third base. While a lot of people never even have the opportunity to swing the bat. But it is their fault. Right.... As for God Bless, I don't believe in fairy tales. But I wish you the best.

Hi Mark, I know the boat is far from complete, but I am concerned about the gap between the foredeck that you built and the braces supporting the outboards. Your dad almost slipped at one point and could have ended up falling down that gap into the oncoming outboards. Also the deck is very exposed, I'm sure your gonna fit hand rails etc, please just make it as safe as can be, having said all that she does seem sturdy and capable. Good luck Brian

This was my favorite episode! Mark, I agree with your mom! I’m very proud of you! Post more videos, make more money! I love what you’re doing, but I’m concerned about how much money you’re making! I follow a woman that has a travel vlog, it’s called Itchy Boots. She normally posts 3 videos a week and has a lot of followers. I know it’s a lot of work, but increasing the number of videos could make you a lot of money! We all need that to happen! If you posted 3 videos a week like this one, just imagine how much more you could make! Just saying buddy!

May I add a comment.... the aluminum cross beams need to be fixed securely to the mounting points. A delrin or better yet bronze bushing will take the slack out of the junction a proper sized washer and pin will be needed. Also consider the loads your fore stay will be placing into that fwd crossbeam in addition to keeping the hulls parallel Luckyfish in one one his early youtube posts had a shorecrew tension up the lashing for the cross beam lashings.might be worth a look.

Your an awesome person and others fill that and this brings them to want to help you out. ❤️👍☝️keep being the kind and awesome person you are man!!!you need to knoch out around the bilge hoses so the board will lay flat so you don't break a leg till you can reroute your hoses out of the way then you can fix the knoches later just don't twist your ankle or hurt your leg.
