Hello friends!! Just wanted to say thank you for showing this video so much love, and address some of the feedback! 1. A lot of people have commented on the length of the video. It's the length that it is primarily because of copyright, but also because there were long sections were I literally forgot to say anything because I was so invested in the story 😅. Two Towers is currently in edit right now - hopefully that one will come out a bit longer! 2. I also hear y'all on the volume. Hopefully that should be fixed for TT, BUT regardless I should have subtitles for the RotK video when that gets done so if there is a volume issue it shouldn't be as bad?? Hopefully lol. 3. I did react to the theatrical version of TT and then watched the extended version on my own, which was a big oopsie 😅. I'll talk about that at the top of the RoTK reaction but I WILL be reacting to the extended version of the last film which means it will likely be a two parter or a super long video! Again thank you all so much!! It's definitely been some trial and error starting up this channel so I appreciate y'alls patience😆

Don't worry about it, fam! As someone who is embarrassingly invested in Tolkien, I'll be the first to admit this lot tends to be... excessively opinionated, without acknowledging the moral quagmire that is the legality of reaction videos, or the massive amount of work that goes into producing them. Most other reactors _flagrantly_ violate copyright, and try every trick in the book to get around it. (Even the lower volume is fine, and helps you not to get flagged; most of us have the dialogue memorised, anyway 🤣) Ultimately, I'm just here to see the moments that were most important to you, that you felt like including - and deeply appreciate the fact that there are other moments you felt too invested in to think about commentary. That's how you know Peter Jackson helped build a fantastic story 🤗❤ (On a personal note, I personally think _The Two Towers_ is the best film of the three to watch the extended editions for; Boromir's scene alone makes it worthwhile. The other films are neither here nor there when it comes to the extended editions; it's really just for hardcore fans.) Cheers! I'm looking forward to whatever you might happen to share in the future.

Thanks for the reaction, and for this additional info! Sounds like you're taking the feedback constructively which is great. Keep going!

Real ones cry at Gandalf and Boromir's deaths, even seeing them for the hundredth time ❤ Also, good on ya for editing it down appropriately to not violate copyright.

@@colincopeland5409 It's Howard Shore that gets me. When that soprano swells as the Fellowship flees into Dimrill Dale, and Merry comforts Pip... the floodgates, maaan 😭

The reaction seems too short for an almost three-hour movie.

I'm one of the Tolkien nerds here on RU-vid who tries to watch as many LOTR reactions as we can. When I saw that you did the entire first movie in roughly fifteen minutes, I skipped to the end to see your final reaction. You looked like you had been taken by the story, which to us T-nerds is the best reaction possible, so I'm sorry we didn't get to see more of your ongoing reaction during the movie. Could you consider doing what many other reactors do: Produce two videos of around half an hour each for each of the last two movies so we can see your full reaction?

Awww, the bracers Aragorn puts on at the end are Boromir's, to honor his memory and remind himself he is a part of Gondor too.

Too short a reaction and a mistake lots of reactors make is the volume of the movie is so low and your voice so much louder that viewers end up raising the volume to hear the movie, but when your voice interjects it's VERY loud in comparison. otherwise, good job and good luck.

At 7:16 you ask, "Does Gandalf know what he has?" If you read The Hobbit or watch the Hobbit movies, you'll discover that Gandalf knew Bilbo had A magical ring. But which ring? "There are many magical rings in this world, Bilbo Baggins, and none of them should be used lightly." Gandalf had been uneasy about Bilbo's ring for the past 60 years, but not until now did he become really alarmed. At their first meeting he gave Bilbo a hard look. Because although Bilbo was celebrating his eleventy-first birthday, he still looked no older than when he first found the Ring. And only the Great Rings give long life. But Bilbo came from a long-lived family on his mother's side. Gandalf knew that agents of the Dark Lord were searching for the One Ring, so he was taking a calculated risk in letting Bilbo's ring stay hidden in the Shire. Gandalf traveled to Minas Tirith, the capital of the kingdom of Gondor, which Isildur founded, and searching in the dusty archives of the city, he found Isildur's account of the finding of the Ring and the fiery writing on it. Returning to Bag End, he cast the Ring into Frodo's fire and revealed the fateful inscription: This was indeed the One Ring.

many of us don't really need to hear the movie anymore, so engrained in memory it has become. consider watching with subtitles, it will help you a lot with all those strange names

I always give reactors a chance - and there have been a few that have had the thumbs down. But your honesty regarding your production qualities, well, yours gets a nod! EDIT: Have you considered showing the video in its entirety on something like Patreon?

If you first watch the theatrical, and then the extended version, you will do as most did originally.

Having read the Hobbit (as a child), The Silmarillion & LoTR more than a few times, and seeing the movies at the cinema when they were originally released, I absolutely love watching LoTR reactions on RU-vid, but only the more rewarding, EXTENDED versions that came out in 2002. Don’t understand why so many folk are still doing reactions to the original Theatrical Versions nowadays. Just saying………. Anyway I wish you good luck.

Enjoyed watching your reactions, although you give short measure--condensing a three-hour movie into 20 minutes leaves out a lot! Could you turn up the volume of the movie a bit the next time around?

Nice, but as mentioned elsewhere, way too short of a reaction for such a long and emotionnal movie. Other reactors usually post it in 2 parts of at least 30 mn each. And that's not overkill. Just sayin'...

Yes a hour per movie is even bellow average, 20 min is just cutting corners in this day and age when viewers are into longer videos
