Great video - it seems like you're close enough to hear the birds well - particularly Wood Warbler and Garden Warbler. Can you include the sound of the birds singing in your videos? It would make them even better 🙂👍
Excellent, you got everything you set out for. How typical to get another wood warbler so soon after seeing your first ever! Loved the redstart 'shivering' his tail. Sad that spotted flys are not so easy to encounter these days. Patience certainly paid off with the garden warbler. Well one with your lifers and of course your increasing total for the year!
great video and superb shots. had so many Garden warblers in the past 5 weeks in my garden here in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, as they pass by on there way up north. easy to attract them with plates of clean water, sometimes i put black grapes, dates and slices of mangoes. now there is maybe one or two, soon will disappear and show again between 4-7th of September. and the other long stay is form the second week of October. love the wood warbler got only one visit back in 2014, it stay for 3 weeks, but that time i was not very well so could not get good shots. it is quite a rarity here in Jeddah.
I really like the way you show both common and not so common, do you identify by ear, sadly i use an app to identify birdsong and calls, hope you get your 240
