I say this with the utmost confidence - blue lock season 2 will be one of the greatest sports anime arcs of all time. I’ve read the manga and there’s no manga that got me jumping up from my chair, screaming in excitement other than G5 for one piece. The artstyle, the peak moments, the characters, everything is just greatness. Theres literally a chapter where no words are said for 14-15 pages except for one, and it’s one of my favourite chapters in the entire series. Blue lock season 2 (if animated & perceived correctly) will break the internet 🔥

btw get ready for s2 best sports anime arc 10/10 even better then haikyuu for me tbh but its what i think and we will see rins backstory too (okay am gonna shut up am giving to much info)

I enjoy blue lock a lot , however in terms of overall quality ( animation and writing) I gotta give it to Haikyu. Also haikyu is a show that tell us a story of a sportsmans and It explains the details of volleyball very well. Blue lock is more like shounen show with a football concept, It has nothing to do with real football. But I stil enjoying and not saying its a bad show.

Honestly I'd say read the manga from this point on. The art is phenomenal (s1 butchered a whole lot of amazing panels, wich might happen again in s2), and you'll still have to wait quite a bit for the 2nd season. if season 1 was great then the U20 arc is abso-fucking-lutely amazing 10/10, some of the most hype I've ever experienced.
