Big yap about the state of MoP remix and my further plans with it after maxing the gear on my main and beating SoO mythic for the title. Thank you all for watching!
It does, at least on multiple characters I find. I didnt mind it on my main as it now allows me easy access in max gear farm groups which can get the raids done very efficiently for good bronze :)
@@dangrilgaming I'm currently using all 3 healers to just buy items since they get in raids very fast and easy, and im using my only dps to upgrade gear, I wonder how the gear will be translated into dragonflight when this event is over.
I got to max ilvl in ten days of just upgrading gear. And I am now able to farm bronze much faster than before, heroic SoO and ToT give about 40k bronze each day. I got all mounts and toys and am now just finishing buying all tmogs
I'd be fine if bronze costs were reduced by merely 50% on alts. 200k seems reasonable to max out. You hit max lvl and already have 80k bronze. Those are quite some upgrades and you can atleast get towards 400 ilvl. That's a good entry level on fun. I'm really not keen on gearing my alts at the current costs. Already maxed out once, it took some time. It's been reasonable, just not reasonable for more characters.
@@priest148 Not like there's time to play everything at high level. If you have so much free time you should have all the mounts and transmogs already, so farming bronze to upgrade alt's gear should not be an issue. You should not feel entitled to have welfare gear on alts.
@@AkiRa22084 Because Remix is the equivalent of a seasonal hyper-fun private server. This isn’t an expansion where progress is meaningful and matters. Artificial grinds in a seasonal event is pointless.
@@brandonkruse6412 Who made you the Hyper-fun police? How dare people have fun? Progress in alt number, Exalted reputations and transmog/mount collection is extremely meaningful. This is not Plunderstorm, where almost nothing remained.
@AkiRa22084 So is upgrading your gear cost a third of the Bronze required to get all of the cosmetics. It's a friggin' slog, and honestly, nerfing farm spots because, "Blizzard didn't want you to play it that way" is a trash excuse. We pay for this game, and their lack of respect for our time, even though there are tons of people playing it "the way they wanted them to," is fuckin' wild. Maybe .5% of the playerbase did those farms. If that.
@@AkiRa22084 You expect people to eat up 3+ hours doing raids every day + (easily) hour, or more, of dailies every day to get the "100k a day" like you're claiming
@@priest148 If you are in a hurry, yes. The option is there. Most people did it that way. You can do it slower if you have a life. The point is - if you can do it in 5 days with only 3 hours of playtime a day invested, it's not a slog. Plunderstorm was a way bigger slog. I don't like this method, so I have an army of alts that I just do the dailies with.
All that is left for me is to max out gear and collect Garrosh heirlooms. I managed to collect all heritage armor sets (minus horde allied races) and build another 10 alts. Total of 23 characters now - which will have to be invited to my personal guild. It will be nice to at some point upgrade all heirlooms - but as I am not leveling much these days, it doesn't matter too much. However, it should speed up leveling the allied races to get their heritage sets.
The remix is.. different. I actually really like the previous level up events a lot, but this is a very unique and good change of pace. I dont really want to upgrade my gear too heavily. Im healing on a holy pally, first time ever, snd its fun, BUT it's not great for learning the class/spec. Its enjoyable but I'm anxious to see what the end result will be. How are these going to carry in to the next expac when the gear doesn't naturally have stats? The bronze rate needs to increase asap. Its very low and far too easy to spend.
I decided to try this out and hit 70 yesterday. Between the scaling issues and the extremely slow bronze for upgrades, I'm already never logging back in. I thought it was supposed to be this super fun omega overpowered thing, and ironically I'd never felt weaker as a character in my life.
It is, technically, if you min-max leveling it takes you 2-4 hours and at max gear you literally keep holding W and things explode in front of you. Its the inbetween period of lvl 50ish to ilvl 400+ that feels like complete dogshit. They don't even have to change the total cost of upgrades if they are so an4l about it, they should just change the earlier levels to cost way less, so that people can start having fun and then add the cost cut from the early upgrades to the end range of upgrades. But Blizz gotta blizz Their fuckup with frogs is still the worse offense, it took me 4 days of /played and more than a week of playing the event to reach 10k+ main stat on cloak and max gear, it took a frog farmer half a weekend to get the same thing, or more...
@@damien2729 yeah since the thread and bronze buff the other day I decided to give it a shot and it seems a lot faster to actually be able to get to that ilvl without nolifing it like you fat losers did
I did all five raids today in heroic (I'm 328 ilvl cause I chose first to farm out the best gear and THEN upgrade, so I only RL queue) and got like 35+K bronze just for that alone + the daily queue quests, so... I think it's okay regarding the farm rates, especially considering we still have two months to complete everything. I've been playing for 4/5 days on my warlock main and have 220K bronze at the moment (without buying any mounts or cosmetics). And I don't have any alts. All I did in those days was story quests, dungs, raids, scenarios, and dailies. I haven't even started the second location storyline; I've only done the starting zone quests. But to be honest, we could get a higher bronze farm acceleration. Not many people are willing to play remix for weeks just to finally start having fun with it. Or at least make the alts start with the same cloak or smth.
Well, of course, you could take the leveling 40K bronze reward and a few bronze crates for raid achievements out of that 220K, but the remaining 170ish K is still quite a lot of bronze for a casual few evenings, isn't it? That said, if you add farming kun-lai mobs while waiting for a group to that, you will get even more bronze for the same amount of time without breaking a sweat.
I am so glad to have seen this video. I wish I had known the steep bronze costs for gear upgrades were worth it despite feeling bad. So now my main has barely upgraded gear but most of the cosmetics I wanted. Now I am considering rolling a new main to actually try to make into a strong character. Do you think it would be faster to just level a new character and use the 70-80k bronze from leveling to upgrade, or just start putting what little bronze my main has into gear? Also what classes do you think are best when fully maxxed?
I would level a new main maybe, that initial boost at 70 is really nice to start with the upgrades :) I've seen boomkins, unholy dk's and warlocks pop off hard in particular :)
@@dangrilgaming Yeah I was kind of thinking the same. My current main is boomy. Was thinking about leveling another druid or a dk. Maybe I'll do a dk. Thanks for the response!
I saved every bit of bronze and wanted to till the end when I would buy what I didn't have already. I really wanted to at least try mythic siege and knew I would have to gear to even get a chance so at 300k bronze I dumped it all into gear and kept doing so till I was 476. The fun finally started for me around 380-400 ilvl and I wish I had done so sooner. The event became fun and I hardly touch retail atm apart from weekly guild raid.
@@dangrilgamingand for mains. No dissrespect, but i can play 7-9 hours a week. I can’t even get to a hc raid becouse of lack of ulgrades. :/ this event might not be for the casual ones.
I really like remix. I can level new characters really fast and do some dailies on leveled characters for cosmetics but tbh. no way im going to upgrade any gear at lvl 70. The amount bronze i have to spend for the amount of power i get at the beginning just doesnt feel worth it. Also in comparision to the mount and cosmetics cost the choice is easy for me.
How can I farm gems? My neck, rings, trinkets on my alts are mostly bare or low level. I hate buying from the gem vendor hoping to get the right gem that I want.
On my solo character I jumped in at level 25 on an unholy dk and could make it past stone guardians. I cant remember when I first did it on my level 70, but I cant imagine it being too high for normal MSV as a starting point. For ToT I was around 430 I believe.
Almost 600k, I mainly did the daily quests in the bazaars and then ran the raids I could within the time I had. There were days I did all raids, but most of them I only did MSV/HoF/Terrace. If I would atart again, I would focus on getting ToT done regularly, as it is the most bronze awarding raid.
i already leveld 7 chars to level 70 to get some of the cosmetics. But playing solo without friend or guild mebers ist anoying in remix ..... based on you class its harder or easier to play the complete content. Tanks/Healers have nearly no time waing for doungens or lfr. DD need to wait between 20 -45 min based on the time when you play the game. With chars fresh on level 70 you nearly wont get any invites into normal raids First you need to grind power to get invited. Most groups wont invite players under itemelevle 400 even in NHC. And creating you own group mean long waiting times when you dont play tank or healer. I already had 7 NHC groups which got crushed on the Boss "durumu the forgotten" all other raids where easily cleard but his one "throne of thunder" is like hell.
Nat Pagle IS in as are the anglers but from what I can tell you can’t actually access their sellables from nat pagle. I need a bit more rep before I know for sure though
@@dangrilgaming u getting 500 rep daily for black prince for killing celestials, 0 from tillers, and just few like 100 or 200 if u fish some gourami for nat pagle, but thats like months of fishing;(
You were carried hard then. Just know that without other geared players it would be impossible for you. I couldn't enter any heroics before 380 but at the time there were almost no max geared players and ward just started getting popular. Stuff like Spoils or Animus without the gear and people were quite the chqllenge.
@@xXdnerstxleXx such a loser comment. I did all heroics first week never needed to do raids since. Everything else is braindead easy content. You prolly never seen true skill if that is what you think
I would farm rewards only, and to hell with player power. Problem is, the best-looking Remix-only rewards *require* player power, cause you have to do SoO, and you don't want to be carried and irrelevant the entire 90 days. I still think they did it wrong, where you feel like you're a snot at 70 for most of the time you're playing Remix. They should have done it differently, I'm having a horrible time farming bronze to bring one character to max. I'd like to meet the developers m, in a dark alley...
Funny becouse ppl come in Remix and expect free cosmetics without and efford or work then complain when its aint so. I farmed invincible for 8 years and it still hasnt drops. So farm bronze > upgrade gears > farm bronze faster and easier >> buy rare mounts and mogs is much much easier than farming these stuffs on retails. Its still works but its nothing comparing to farming them on retails
I'm too farming that stupid mount here and now, but than again I think, how they solve this "random drop" problem, is very well in remix. If I get a 1% more drop chance after I play some old raids alone on my own, I would be fine with, because I knew now, that after 100 trys, I will get that mount. But to hear some people have seen this drop two or three times, in the same time I doing this raids like 400 times feels bad.
I would like to see another raid difficulty that scales everyones ilvl so it wont be such a braindead faceroll and it will reward more bronze and maybe do something about Galakras? zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
