When you build a custom cooling system, every single highspot should get a small fitting. Tie them all together and into the top of your fill resovior, along with your steam ports. The resovior should have a 5/8-3/4“ hose off the bottom to the water pump suction side or an aux electric pump pushing into the bottom side circuit. It will constantly bleed the system of air at all high spots. So when you lift a head and start coughing exhaust into the cooling system or boil the piss out of it you will stay cool until you run out of water.
This is my favourite vehicle of your fleet, glad to see it getting some love, screen time, and track time. I enjoy the long running builds where vehicles keep getting improved bit by bit until they're epic (and unique). Maybe I have a long attention span? Whatever happened to that Mercedes wagon? From recollection you'd purchased it back ... is it in the wings waiting for Phase 2 (or are we up to Phase 27)?
What’s the steering like on that car, is the steering rack input slow or fast, OEM or modified? I have the later model Audi which requires more steering input.
In F1 they have different flaps at the back for different tracks depending on ICE thermal load. You need to safety wire the coolant cap? Open pipe to ground... A lot of your projects pose thermal decisions - even EV. I like this project - even if not practical for a pickup.
“Built to suit” I’m pretty sure that’s the long way of saying “Bespoke” or is that a fancy way to say “Built to suit” 🤔 Loving all the content keep up the great work. Much respect from 🇦🇺👍
Holy cow how did this video slip past me for 2 days, man oh man am I glad to see your creation that got me following your channel in the first place getting some love Rich 👌🏻
when you get all the kinks out you need to put it on a dyno - you should actually have your own dyno - maybe you and vince could fab one - would be a money maker #verify
if that's so then why are the views so low , dudes got almost 900,000 subs and most videos barely reach 50,000 views, i don't get it either , i actually really like the content on this channel im trying to figure out why they aren't getting the views , its sad , channels that actually finish projects and do big projects get shit views but channels like tacarish and samceac never finish anything unless it's a one video project and they get 400,000 or 1000,0000 views on every video 🤷🏻♂️ people have such a short attention span
Yeah, the algorithm has been tough to us. I also don't like to act. Channels that take on a persona seem to do better, but I just want to focus on building.
@@DEBOSSGARAGE right on I picked up a6 2.7tt basically the engine cradle suspension and all that stuff, had plans on putting it in a sandrail but the project has been put on hold for a lil bit
So like Pinky and the Brain? Have a perfect plan of action with one wrong decision and just scrap 2000 hours of work. Got it! I'll put it on the trailer and head to V&R
@@benschlack5814 and there you are again valuing your opinion so highly that you think it's a fact. Know what else are "things of the past"... airplane wings, boats with hulls, jet engines, and sails....all old technology, but just like 'push rod engines', they are all going to be around doing work and offering recreation for a long, long time. Go Troll elsewhere.
Not trolling 😂😂 I'm a subscriber. Chevrolet and Chrysler use pushrod engines because they are cheap and suck. They both retooled and created " new engines LS, and hemi and left them pushrod because they are cheap and lazy. No pushrod engine will stay together very long with aftermarket boost. Your just an idiot
