@@SandsGC He means "The blue lego flower is meant to be a bit of dust/ lint to show how the crate is empty" which I agree with. But regardless BANGER video, cant wait for you to make more.
My guess for the blue flower is either one of the flowers from the ending of tropical freeze when the trumpet is sounded, but these are not blue, or one of the secret relics from the same game, but these would be better as gray tiles
Everything thing I know about Donkey Kong I learned by watching this video. I appreciate your dedication to trying to figure out the reference to that flower that the designer accidentally dropped in when they were rendering the instructions.
sands i would assume the flower in the crate in the treehouse is to represent dust, showing that the bananas were stolen. i’m not to sure about that though
The flower may be a reference to the flower in level 1 of Donkey Kong Country Returns. If you go underneath the hut there is a flower that you can blow on that reveals a puzzle piece. I may be overthinking it and it is a bit of a stretch but it's the only thing I can think of.
Really well done, I grabbed all the sets out of loyalty to DK but ran into a lot of the same issues. (Also, little unsolicited thing, I know the retention editing thing has been tempting over the past two years but it's thankfully going out of style, you're good to take certain line reads a little slower since this isn't Shorts. Sorry, I know that's out of left field, just talking shop since I enjoy the content)

The mole’s are from donkey Kong country returns, specifically the cave area, where they appeared in two levels, one Minecart level and one where they acted as enemies used by a possessed mole boss TLDR: They were in donkey Kong country returns
Is it though one of the worse themes though? Atleast the the prices are fine and not out of wheck like star wars and marvel which all have the same issues by the way. And playablity is normally second to none with out ruining the buiblibity or collectability of the sets...
Dude, this is so fire. I've actually been working on enhancements of the sets for a stop-motion, and I totally agree with your criticism of them. Most design picks just don't work for Donkey Kong, or the demographic that genuinely loves the DK franchise. I had to remove DK's foot to get him in the minecart. Otherwise, he would just fall out I'm going to try to make Lanky and Chunky as well. Great video❤
probably a stretch but if the flower is meant to be in the banana hoard cave maaaaaaybe its a reference to the flower you blow on in the cave of donkey kong country returns that gets you the first puzzle piece? again, probably a huge stretch but its my best guess
this is amazin! I have a suggestion, you should make a new original series called "ask sands" like people would comment on the video and you could answer questions and stuff every Tuesday, its never been done before i think you should do it.

Awesome video Lego needs to give us Mario minifigure sets. Great modifications I need all of these sets, especially since Diddy Kong is in one of them. There should have been a Nintendo logo printed on the cal, its a new mold. Wth Lego? Also the track system should have actually worked and not been broken Maybe you should send your notes to Lego
Why is Nintendo rejecting King K. Rool for the country series he would make more sense than Mario, even if all of the sets are about you scan this plates with him.
Jeez, a lot of your criticisms are just minor nitpicks. Like, spending a huge chunk of the video whining about an inconsequential flower piece was really unnecessary. I think these builds are fine as is, though I do appreciate the stability improvements. However, you actively admitted that the final product you made looks worse than what you started with. While it makes a nice display piece and I do like a few of your improvements to the treehouse, everything else looks super cluttered and packed together. I think many AFOLs like you refuse to admit that the Super Mario theme, and Lego as a whole, is a toy first and foremost, and isn’t looking to appeal to people who want sets sitting on their shelves outside of the D2C sets, rather emphasizing play features. If you want something more displayable, there’s already quite a few sets for you, but the theme isn’t really designed for that type of audience overall. You don’t need to nitpick the stuff you already don’t like. Why bother regurgitating what so many people have already said? If you don’t like it, don’t give it your time or money. AFOLs are always complaining about references and accuracy to source material, instead of admitting that they’re criticizing a playful toy for children that doesn’t necessarily need to represent all the deep cuts. Get real, man.
