One issue I got annoyed by is the ignoring of the fact that terastilization can actually give Pokémon new types (like a blastoise can become fairy type), like the designs are good, but you are basically just making mega evolution but monotype
@@TheLolgan Eh, it is fine the designs could have no shiny (on the crystals, the Pokémon are still shiny) and the crystals could be different colors depending on the type
@@alexgreer6336 I also feel like they can be different flavors or tastes as well, like fire gives it a spicy like taste, ice is a more mint like taste, water is refreshing, rock might taste like the gems it used to eat, dragon might have a powerful taste, fairy can be more of a sweet like taste, poison can be sour, it has a lot of possibilities.
The hats are so that kids can grasp what type they turned to 🥲 but your idea is 10/10 better especially love the Sableye, he shouldhave gotten a regional form or some thats normal ghost like only found near the stellar crystals like his thirst was satisfied… also since normal seems to be the ”stellar type”
i love these designs mostly Scovillan, but it feels like it would be a pain do to code in and model all the new Terastal ,mon so i can see why they when with the hats, but they hats they did make look like shite tho
This feels like a cross between terastal and Megas. And if Dynamaxing got it's Gmax counter part, then why can't tera's have this. I mean, there's only two special tera forms and they belong to the dlc legendaries. Id love to see you make this a series of some sort. Call it, idk, Megastalising "Pokemon".
so basically the solution you came up with is that instead of making 18 new models and adding a texture but any pokemon can use any type, you made it so specific pokemon could get specific types (taking away any form of stategy to it and basically just making single type megas) or needing 18 new models per pokemon in the game, which would have been far too much work for any of the games, let alone scarlet and violet, the most rushed one
My solution was to make it look better than the games version, I understand that stuff like this would take too much time and effort considering how much Pokémon exist, this is just my personal input of what I wanted it to look like. I’m not very educated on Pokémon strategy or meta so obviously there will be errors there.

This might work if there was to be general terastalized pokemon, like with dynamax and then you could get special forms one way or another, like with gigantamax, heck orgerpon and terapagos already had that. But I guess gamefreak wanted the gimmick forms to be the paradox mon anyways, which I welcome, and I don't mind the hats, they are silly in a neat way for me
Not really. These feel more like unique terastal forms, a bit like gigantamax forms, rather than fixing the gimmick. It would’ve been insanely hard to make a 18 different forms for every single Pokemon.
Pokémon X and Y were my first Pokémon games and I remember mega evolution being sm fun. Everyone thought it was a permanent addition to the series, and I remember the… disappointment. the fandom experienced realizing it wasn’t Mega best gimmick >>>
