I fixed the Pancakes house and their marriage... 

plot twist: the blue room was Eliza's and the pink Bob's, Bob likes to be cosy and soft while Eliza is more energetic and likes her exercise

I renovated the pancakes house via interior design career and I seen Eliza was missing, they also had 3 teenage triplets as well as their son rusty. Eliza’s tombstone was in the back garden! I think Bob finally had enough

"She does not have a job, but she wants to own a mansion" never thought I'd relate so much to Eliza

Deli, please know from start to finish this is a compliment. I have been sleeping to your videos. I always watch them fully once maybe even a few times but then I use them to sleep. Your videos have such a comforting and relaxing vibe and I appreciate it. I have difficulty finding what I need to lull me to sleep, but right now especially, you’re perfect. On the flip side, you did incredibly on this home! I adore the update!

I’ve seen the theory and fully agree with the fact that this was bobs parents house, and that’s bobs old room. Hence the strange Victorian esque furnishings.

That's the background story I gave them when I renovated their house: Eliza and Bob met in college. They lived in an apartment and married. When Bob's parents died, they moved into their house. Bob was really sad but they still had hope to make this home homy again by starting their own family. But then they found out that Eliza is infertile. Bob became more and more depressed. He did not want to change anything in the house to not loose the memories of his parents. Eliza became more and more obsessed with house design tv shows and wanted to give the house a new touch but Bob did not let her, so she only was able to use some little decor objects in the house and she has her own room to decorate. So, their bad marriage did not result from Eliza being a bad person, but from tragedies both went through together.

I always find Eliza slander odd as she’s always coming over in my saves and ends up as best friends with my sims while my sims can’t ever seem to not make bob angry.

I always assumed it was Bob's parents house and Bob and Eliza moved in after they died, and the reason they sleep in separate rooms is because Bob won't sleep in his parents room. That would explain the old expensive furniture and why Bob's room looked like a teens room.

I want James’ attic room to be in the new house 😂

I downloaded your last Pancakes house renovation and started playing them. They had a phase where they saw other people (while living together), Eliza started painting and working in social media and got pretty successful on her own. Bob found love and had a child or two with someone else, but after a while they got back together, had children and grew old in love. I'm now playing the 6th generation of this legacy and it's my best dynasty yet, I love these sims.

I renovated their house last year and was in shock at the house value. I added a pink laundry and yoga room for Eliza then gave Bob a safe space for him to be sad and alone

in my mind, bob’s room used to be a gym/study, but he suggested sleeping in different rooms and eliza left the one piece of workout equipment in there so she had an excuse to keep going in there. i think they still really love each other, but their personalities can clash sometimes and they need some space away from each other. love the build by the way!!

i think this is the best renovation of the Pancakes house that ive ever seen, it will be in my game for sure

I headcanon that they're living in Bob's late mother's house and in Bob's grief, he won't change the way the house looks, which would explain his room being very teenager-y, the skill building items, and the rest of the house being more old school. It also explains how they afforded so many high end items on a single, low career level budget. Then I modify the house based on how their relationship goes. If it goes well, Bob let's go of what he's holding onto and helps Eliza find their own style to suit their relationship!

Eliza is such a flirt.. It's like her hidden trait lol. She has caused some trouble in my sims relationships as well. My legacy fam has lived in their house many generations ago. The Pancakes were just a footnote of long-forgotten history. I re-decorated this house as well. It seems big, but especially the living room is pretty small. I wasn't allowed to tear down walls. If i could, i would've made that weird*ss, too big of a staircase smaller,

Great video, my relationship of 5 years ended a month ago. The love of my life decided to leave me, Really love her so much, i can’t stop thinking about her. I’ve tried my very best to get her back in my life, but to no avail, I’m frustrated because i literally can't envision my life with anyone else. I’ve done my best to get rid of the thoughts of her but I can’t, I don’t know why I’m saying this here, I really miss her and just can’t stop thinking about her!

Deli with the new pack coming out i would love to see you recreate Mortimer Goths parents from the Sims 2/3 Cornelia Goth (who is also Agnes Crumplebottoms sister) and her husband Gunther Goth in the Sims 4, and the grandparents and relatives of each of the og classic family that are in the sims 4 now like the Landgraabs ( Johnny Zest being Nancy and Geoffrys Son, Malcoms son Adrien and daughter Mimi and all the other Landgraabs). Bellas parents ( the Bachelor Family). The Newbies. The pleasants family ties. Basically all of the Sims 4 family’s who have ties to the other games and you can explain each of the families historys and lores for all the new players i think it would be so fun to watch and see

I don't think Bob got this children's lamp because he wants to, but because Eliza put all the lamps in her room, and Bob had to improvise.

I've seen lots of pancake house renos but this one if definitely my favorite! Good job deli!! 😋💓

I always thought they just inherited this house and left it in it's original state due to lack of money. I think we can all agree the interior style doesn't seem like a Bob's cup of tea, but I think Eliza is not a big fan either. Yes, she's materialistic and wants to have a mansion, but style of her clothes seems pretty causal and she's athletic. They also appeared in dream home decorator trailer and when the designer interviewed them, "dislikes pink" appeared as guideline for the design, and I'm not sure if Bob or Eliza said that, but I think it was Eliza. This would mean the pink room is not hers (or at least that she didn't design it). I like to think that the pink bedroom was their parents/grandparents's room (whoever owned the house before) and that the Bob and Eliza shared the other bedroom.

I downloaded the house right after I saw the video and instantly started playing the Pancakes family….but girl why was Eliza so upset with the decor😂😂 in every room she found something to be unhappy about. She was mad about them kitchen stools and the fruit bowl 😂😂 Frankly I loved the way the house looks now!

Nice job on the house. I agree that they wasted too much space on this house interior. In both of the worlds I play, Bob Pancake, unfortunately, passed away at a young age. Accidents happen. In one world Eliza discovered she was actually in love with Zoe Patel. They had a long happy life until old age caught up with them. In the other world, Eliza married a random townie, who is somewhat self-centered, but they seem happy together.

Eliza dislikes blue I think when they put in likes and dislikes or at least in my game? But it’s every fresh game she doesn’t like it

There's a theory that the bed rooms are switched and Bobs is the pink one and Elizas is the other just because of there traits and personalities

I think maybe the blue room was a guest room which is why the gym equipment is there and it looks not like the rest of the house, and as their relationship cooled down Bob moved into that room. Makes more sense to me at least and i also think the pink room being Eliza's makes more sense because she's materialistic so she prolly enjoys the fancy aesthetic more

I'm so glad you decided to change Bob and Eliza's lives for the better, especially their house. I actually did the same thing. In my save, Bob's still married to Eliza. But thanks to therapy and hard work in the form of changing life habits as well as two way communication and eventually, the arrival of their twins Iggy and Princess, Bob and Eliza are happily married(once again). Old habits die hard though. Eliza can still be a little naggy from time to time, but The Pancakes are much happier in my save. ❤️ I actually have a theory that Bob and Eliza Pancakes were once happy and very much in love. But then after the wedding and honeymoon phase were over, there came a series of tragedies, like Eliza having trouble with infertility, Bob suffering from depression, Eliza unable to get her business off the ground and Bob and Eliza not having much in common, thus being incompatible. And when Bob and Eliza finally realized that they can't go on like this anymore, they decided to try to save their marriage before getting a divorce. I went down the saving the marriage route and it actually worked. Bob and Eliza even have new traits now.

Good build! I was so stressed because I swore I’d seen this build before. But I realised you’ve done their house before and basically said the same thing. Both times you made bob share a bathroom with the guest room. Happy to watch you rebuild it again.

I imagine that Eliza comes from money and her family passed down or purchased most of the furniture for her. She has the money minset and a more proper way of thinking/acting because of how she was raised, but she can’t help but love sweet, smile, lazy bob. Who maybe was raise me with less money and poise but a lot of heart

I just got back into the sims again after years of not playing and I can't remember the first person mode that you're using in build mode. That mode is so immersive. How do I get to use it? I can only find the sims perspective camera in Live mode.

My husband and I have separate bedrooms and a healthy relationship. We like to decorate our rooms our own way. but also he snores very loud and is a light sleeper, while I toss and turn alot in my sleep which keeps him awake. It works for us.

Honestly first thing I did to this family when I started to play sims was make them divorce after adopting a toddler. After this Bob left them and Eliza started dating Mortimer.

Love ❤these builds about repairing the Pancakes 🥞 relationship because in one of my save games their relationship is unrepairable. Bob and Eliza divorce and Bob is remarried to Bella after Mortimer died 💀. They live the old Pancake 🥞 house with teen Iggy, got two kids of their own and Bella is pregnant again😹. This is all do to neighborhood stories by the way. I did nothing to make this happen 😹😹😹.

It definitely looks better, I have always hated how overly fancy and country like all the houses are, I mean they are even doing the same houses in Growing Together, and they wonder why people say the world reminds them of Willow Creek, because they built the houses the same way! Also thank you for not criticizing Eliza like everyone else does, I kind of like her, she always becomes friends with my Sims really easy, so her one bad trait Materialistic doesn't make her a bad Sim, she is always nice!

My partner and I have separate rooms because he works nights..it's just easier..it's been 2 years and it works. I do miss sharing a bed though..we only be 26 and already don't sleep together 😅

Suggestion: One minor thing that could be done, is the staircase could still be L-shaped, with the bottom part being 3 or 4 steps, I don't remember what the default number is, then the landing.
