One of the new things I don't like about the new miis are the hands. I get the disembodies sphere hands were because of technical limitations, but I still see it as part of the charm, even today. Great video, it all looks great.
Yeah. I don't know why so many people have a problem with design choices spawned from technical limitations. With that logic, Mario should no longer have a moustache since the devs only gave him one because they couldn't give him a proper mouth.
Ignoring the fact that I do genuinely hate the usage of the word "fixed" here since there's absolutely nothing wrong with Wii Sports's graphics (but hey, we do what we do on yt), It's clear that a ton of effort went into this, and the end product does look really good. Exactly ! As much as the work put into this video is remarkable, I think that "fixing" wouldn't be the adequate word to be using here. Good graphics aren't about realism, and people sadly tend to think of it this way.
I would go so far as to say the “fixed” graphics don’t really look like they’d work for something like Wii sports. Like yes they’re LEAGUES better than what the Wii could output but they don’t look like environments I could see a Mii in.

Whoaaaaaa. This is awesome like the graphics took it too a whole different level. You knocked it out the park with this. Bowling really caught my attention like the lights and the different details to it it made it a whole vibe. I wish Wii sports would’ve actually had a neon mode for bowling.
this video shows the downfall of the gaming industry due to people being obsessed by highly realistic graphics and thinking that graphics are the only thing that makes people decide wether games are good or bad. Such a shame. Gaming used to be so interesting. But it was all ruined by greed.

Ocarina of time 3d is not bad at all, it looks more closer to the art of ocarina of time, the more fantasy elements and eastern character designs. Wii sports club literally just looks like hd wii sports so idk what ur on about. This video is fine but I wish he kept the art style and actually made it a game not a 6 second animation
Great work and dedication all around! You did a really nice job with modeling but I cant say I'd personally call it better lol. How does that sayimg go when it comes to remakes? Isnt it something like "its about making it look the way you remember it, and not about just upscaling everything"? Regardless, while this does look better, it doesn't look better lol. I do really like your personalization of the lighting in bowling though, and again I think you did a really good job. Please don't stop making content like this and have an excellent day!

This on one of the lastest blender version, It was on 2013 when I tried learning blender, I heard a lot changed, this is amazing of what you had done with the right tools
I would say that wii sports still looks better, it has a simple, but effective and quite charming look, while the over the top, highly detailed graphics just look out of place with the simplistic mii’s. I guess I just hate the word “fix” when it’s just putting the characters in high definition backgrounds without understanding what made wii sports work to begin with. Realistic doesn’t necessarily mean good
If Nintendo ever puts out another Wii Sports-like game, they MUST consult you. What you’ve done to these three sports games is unbelievable! You absolutely blew me away with baseball. Baseball was my favorite out of the whole selection. I was a pro! For the Mii’s, what you could’ve done was given the skin and clothing details and texture. But dude, I applaud you in what you’ve done! My one question for you is how you got the Jumbotrons to work.
Dude, I am in love with what you did with the baseball part of Wii Sports! That ballpark looks amazing! I create ballparks in blender too! I would love to have one of them functioning like that for a game one day!
