@circulatetheapp3747 Yes, and common sense also exists and also sarcasm...idk this lady so I'm going to use what I believe to be true and assume she didn't hop off the plane get her hair done and head back to the airport....
That is was she wrote and said. She said she flew all the way to Nigeria To get her braids done. She didn't say I went on a trip to Nigeria and got briads while i was there. People have done stupid stuff A lady went to Georgia just to get veneers like it wasn't ANYONE in Texas
I’m sure the trip and service was less than what these self taught hairstylists are charging for braids. Just saw a $2,000 price tag for braids in you guessed it Atlanta ratchet ass kingdom
@@queenelizabeth8020 I live on the outskirt surburbs of Atlanta we are Not paying 2stacks for braids, they may charge 2k but noone I know is actually paying that😂😂😂we will braid our own hair before we pay mortgage on some braids 💯💯
I would have giving them 100 because 10 bucks? Wooooow. That’s crazy and she got full service in the states she would have been paying 2-3 hundred if not more especially if they shampoo and blow dry
Gotta balance tipping with upsetting the local economic balance. Going overboard causes them to charge Americans a ridiculous amount more than locals then Americans get mad for being overcharged & treated like a lick to hit.

I would have still tipped good !!! I got my cornrows and wow they were so loose I took them out after 3 days about 15 years ago and I paid 50$ because my hair was short
Please the fact that she got her hair done 15,000N is about equal to $10 U.S dollars 🤯, cause the prices they're charging over here in the U.S is outrageous!!! Thank you for sharing💓
I live in Nigeria, I definitely won't make that hair for N15000, I will make it for like N5000 that's abt a little more than $3, it really depends on were u go, she went to a pricey salon, but if u come from the states definitely go to a pricey salon, cos it won't dent ur pocket.
Caucasian male here 🙋♂️ i have a whole new respect for all involved in hairstyles/braids . I never knew how long and the work it takes to get it done. 👏 👏
Yes, hair braids in Nigeria 🇳🇬 is less cheaper than in US. These women are Nigerians traveling to their homeland for hair braid services that’s great. But I would have paid more in a tip. Like $100.00 US dollars 💵 they deserve it.
I would have to give them a very generous tip, knowing the work that goes into the art form of braiding and the realization that I am really blessing them for blessing me as well.💯
@@kjwsmother2647 I care that’s why I asked. I didn’t say anything was wrong with her going to her home land. I also don’t pay for braids. The real question is what’s got you so angry cause I don’t even know you?
I went to the Bahamas with my hubby, just for another "honeymoon." I decided to get my hair done, and it cost me $20. I did it because we had a little photoshoot coming up. The ladies were nice, and they did an awesome job 👍🏾👏🏾.
@OnyadyckWhatttt? Did you seriously post this? Don't judge something you never experienced or somewhere you never been. Just Sayin'. Absolutely ridiculous
@Onyadyck Wrong , i go over once a year and before you get off the ship they stress to us not going off alone simply because it's not safe it's very dangerous place to be alone you must stay together in groups Their clothes are cheap aswell 😊
Yall out here thinking she just went to get her hair done she got a mini vacation out of it instead of spending a few days in the saloon 🔥❤️they worked so fast u see those braids American stylists could never they would have her for 8h for three days😂
I work for an airline and trust me people do this. Not just the employees but friends and family of the employees. My sister uses my benefits more than me. No need for a hotel if your family lives around the world. Lol
@@vanillabee2790I get along with my colleagues I don’t really have to guess or assume. We talk. Lol Sometimes we travel just to pick up snacks or try restaurants we’ve seen online. Traveling to save hundreds of dollars on braids when places in Ghana charge $20 is normal.
Nigeria is very cheap! Perhaps one of the cheapest places in the world. This is why people think we are so poor. You could literally live on just $150-$200 a month here
In Kenya it's also equivalent to $10 including the shampoo and hot treatment., breads So when one is in US it's ten times the profit 🤣 Same applies to dental work
She's actually saying the truth it's cheaper to plat braids in most African countries...Am Zambian and that hair style is about $7.5 to $10. Very true although maybe she has family there or was a tourist on holiday 😊
Depending on what time of year you go and where you fly from could be around 2k unless you want to do a bunch of layovers and travel for 30 something hours it could be less. Leave in hotels that are inexpensive more local ones opposed to big name ones you can have nice trip. If you know someone you trust there they can help you it is better.
Ain't no way I can sit up there and give them $10 for all that beautiful work that they did. They definitely deserve a huge tip. I couldn't leave those ladies. What out tipping them real good?🎉 Hats off to those ladies. I wish they could sit up here and do my hair. Please come to America and do My hair I don't like to pay a killing.

After getting my hair done in Nigeria I paid the lady who came to my hotel like $20US which was quintuple what she charged. I felt bad and gave her even more.
@@jwoo2504why not ? I'm Nigerian living abroad and I definitely would. I understand the currency but I would give it to the braiders secretly plus what do you think this is a lot of Nigerians living In Nigeria also tip big money at times they even given money to all the hairstylist. If it's those people in the Airports it's valid do not tip them other than that it's okay

Getting your hair done in Africa is the best! They also don't use so many products like I see in US videos which makes it much better and natural. That hair you are guaranteed it will go 4 full weeks

She's lying for attention and clicks. She was going on holiday to Nigeria anyway she just used an attention seeking title. I hate that every video is like this now. I block the channels and move on because it's irritating behaviour
lol an $5 tip would more than suffice for the LOCAL circumstance. Foreigners (Americans) need to learn to respect local economies. Out here trying to gentrify Nigerian braiding salons in the name of $tip
Babe. 10 dollars for the service was the point. They did it all! That's insane. We have to do half that ourselves and still pay hundreds. Like a vacation and pampered sound nice af.
@@sss_Shaq1496nope even the old african braiders are raising their prices. same please i’ve gone to for years to get medium knotless braids hip length used to be 250 with hair but now it’s 400
@@sss_Shaq1496true but you gotta arrive with your shit half done tho 😩😭 but BFFR how much you think a regular stylist would charge you to take your old braids down, wash and braid your hair???? I’m in ATL and that shit would cost at LEAST $800 and that’s if you can find a braider who would even do it smh
It's NOT her hair 😂. Grow your own hair, it's not a hard thing to do. Am a man and when I was younger I had long corn rolls, I didn't need to put fake hair in my head. 😊
My aunt lives in Tanzania I got my hair braided there. It was very affordable, but I pay them like I was still in the states... they did a beautiful job
As a stylist many ppl do this..bc it’s way cheaper..but of course for some they make a trip around it sometimes..but here in the US they killing it on price compared to $10 WOW..
They took out her old style, washed blow dried and braided her hair. Trust me I'd fly there too for this price 😅. American braiders not doing this work.
As foreigners I hope you aren’t exploiting the cheap Labour. Please pay them well. Since it cost 10 USD for you but if you did it in the us it would be like 200 USD, at least give them a nice tip of 20 USD each.
lol I didn’t wanna say that but they were not that pretty to me. Good job yeah and would have paid at least 50 but there are team age girls here in there hustle that I have seen do better. Not trying to shit on the work cause it was still good but not great in my opinion.
Haters gonna hate at all times. But its common practice for my relatives to get their hair braided when visiting Jamaica 🇯🇲 not throwing shade its just facts.
@@aboutthatlife1646 u are. Or u didn't understand what u typed THESE braids ?.... lol ure a hater because it was done well and for a fraction of the cost you'd have to pay

This is fun and all until you realize there are starving billionaires in African countries and the money exchange needs to be updated because $10 is ridiculous
U can go to any where, if u are coming to Nigeria and it's Lagos and u are looking salon, just google salons on Allen avenue Ikeja or Opebi, Ikeja ( Ikeja is middle class neighborhood) or Google salon on Victoria island or salons lekki or salons in ajah. Don't forget to add Nigeria when u are searching. Just use Google if are outside Lagos. I can make my hair $3 that's because I don't make them in rich neighborhoods.
Wow I definitely need to go to Nigeria to get my hair done. For $10 US dollars you can't beat that's. I've my been getting my hair for the wrong price smh 🤦🏾♀️
People saying they pay 300$? That's crazy.. In Brazil i pay around 30/40 $. You do pay more for take the old ones down, for blow drying, etc. There's places a lot more expensive, these IG places.. but the average is around R$200 (40$). Only 10$ for all thIs work is crazy too ngl
There are many hair salons in US and Europe that can braid any style of hair. So don't tell me you specifically traveled to Nigeria just to braid your hair.
