it's important to stay balanced btw with your timing tells, dead serious, if you tank check a spot where you're supposed to snap check and people know you like to peel flops with pocket pairs, the smart ones pick up on it!

I use a chip and treat it like a clock, so if the top of it is 90 degrees right facing, that's 0-25, if it's 180 degrees, that's 26-50 etc

It's capped at £10, with additional £1.50 for promos. It's not as bad as it sounds, you just need to try to avoid playing small pots. (I.e. Size up your bets and never limp if you can help it!) For example, from a £21 pot, they will take out £3.50 for rake and promos which equates to 16% rake. Anything over £200 is capped at £11.50. So a £230 pot is the threshold for when the rake actually hits 5%
