I still can't believe I beat this level. I took a risk by jumping to Cataclysm from Windy Landscape, and I am SO GLAD I did. This level, while being frustrating at times, was ultimately pretty fun to play. However, the 10% wave and 40% straight fly were major choke points, and those were the parts that were NOT fun to play. But Cataclysm was more than just a level to me. First of all, I felt something during that attempt that I have never felt before. This feeling is hard to convey in words, but I'll try my best to explain it well. Once you're getting that far into a level that hard, your body starts feeling really hot. When I got to the final wave, my body felt like it was overheating. It constantly got hotter and hotter until I got past the final clicks of the level. The instant gratification I felt after beating it was so fulfilling, and I believe that everybody should have the chance to feel this. Cataclysm has also taught me something about myself, and I think that it can be applicable to real life as well as in Geometry Dash. I decided to jump to Cataclysm on September 20, and I beat it on October 1. I beat this level in 12 days, and the only reason I was able to achieve this is because I believed I could do it. This leads me to believe that I could beat Bloodbath, or even something as difficult as Sonic Wave if I put my mind to it. This also makes me think that I could apply this newfound knowledge to the world around me. If I try hard enough to achieve something, then I will achieve it. I believe that my Geometry Dash journey is far from over, and I'm ready to have fun every step of the way.
