Pretty Pastel’s next evolution is vintage? I’m here for it! Those shoes at the end, however impractical, were absolutely gorgeous.

Rachel Maksy, Jessica Kellgren-Fozard, and Karolina Zebrowska all do some vintagey 40/50s styles! I think they've either done tutorials or have videos of them following tutorials

I am OBSESSED with the black hair and red lipstick combo. You look so incredible. I'd love more 40s/50s inspired content!

Two things i wanted to share, 1) cut your greens instead of pulling them up. You can get additional production out of them. 2) it's easier to use the bananas if you peel and slice them before you freeze them. PS I adore the new hair color😁

Definitely try a 1940s or 50s hair tutorial, but make sure it's an authentic styling technique, using rollers or preferably pin curls! Doing it with a curling iron never looks as good as a pin curl wave set.

Rachel Masky and Pin Up Palmer are the two ladies I follow for vintage inspo. Pin-up palmer does have a tutorial for a vintage brush out. Also Lopsie has a whole series where she recreates vintage hairstyles using tutorial from the day and Era she is recreating.

Dita Von Teese has been one of my saviors this year, so to see you doing her routine and getting all glammed up in her honor was such a lovely surprise. The vintage style really suits you and the flamingo sweater was a cherry on top 🍒

The lemmon concentrate... girlll only a few drops is enough... PPP also used it as "lemon water" in another recipe. Alex, if you read this, the lemon juice they sell in stores is often a concentrate of actual lemon juice! Way more sour etc... edit: Lemon water and then brushing your teeth, watch out it can damage your teeth! The acid from fruits and toothpast together can harm your teeth.

Lisa Fremont Street has been my go to for vintage hairstyles since I started doing pinup about 10 years ago. She is fantastic.

Sage Lilleyman (Also an Australian RU-vidr) has some really good hair tutorials for achieving vintage styles, she loves thrifting and is really sweet. You should look her up, Alex, I think you guys would get along really well! She also has a sweet husband who helps her with her videos.

In my experience with green smoothies the best way to start is more like 30-40% green and 70-60% sweet and then go harder with the green. Just in case you wanted to give it another shot sometime haha

I knew that Alex reminded me of someone with her new black hair color, but could not remember the name. Kudos to the subscriber(s) who got the name DIta Von Teese correctly. These subscribers are obviously making it through the quarantine with more of their IQ points than I have! BTW if the chimes ringtone fails, try The Mandalorian theme to wake up. It is catchy, has a good steady beat and seems to penetrate the coma which is what my sleep pattern has de-evolved into. Not sure if Ms. Teese uses that theme.😉

I did just really want the satisfaction of you finishing off the hair look by pulling the clips out though, I'm quite sure they're only meant to hold the Marcel wave as your hair dries into place, especially with hairspray 😆 But stunning nonetheless!
