NCT127 “Kick It” - Everyone has that reaction and the only regret I have is not knowing them since debut but the three years i’ve been a NCTzen (N-citizen) watching so their music videos, vlives, Neo Zone track videos and teasers alone kill me. I also noticed the yellow & black theme in the MV which many have said it reminds them of Kill Bill but the colors represent Bruce Lee’s jumpsuit he wore in his movies & paying homage to him plus if it was it was about Kill Bill then there would be references within the song too. I knew at some point they would reveal they are ninjas; giving off Karate Kid & Regular vibes with next theme and style, the more I watch the MV I believe it’s somewhat of a tribute to Bruce Lee or something relatable to him. I waited so long for this and now it’s here i’m speechless 😶 They didn’t come to play, Ive been trying hard to put their storyline together it’s been extremely hard and I have upsettingly forgotten allot of their story from their previous music videos (If there is one). I love how they incorporate Bruce Lee even though he’s chinese, universal legendary master and actor within their track, I know there’s been many kpop/cpop artists who’ve incorporated Bruce Lee within their songs and i’m sure his family would be very happy to hear that he’s not being forgotten and I am so happy to see jungwoo back from being absent for awhile because of health issues. I really love how the song sounds and they look so good. Seventeen “Left & Right” - OMG the teasers and concept photos of their comeback ... Right now I don’t know whether to go left or right because for a moment I thought “My, My” was going to be their title track but they really got us a HIT summer vibe with this son bringing very upbeat and fun tunes with colorful theme of a stadium and outdoors, I don’t know if it just me but I do see abit of their “HOME” theme within the music video. I’m reviewing it abit more to fully understand #SeventeenLeftRight Stray Kids “Gods Menu” - I am so speechless, my brain is still trying to process the meaning of the song and MV. I did figure out that “Shin” word means both “God” and “New” which either one can be applied to this title track 👀 They literally became GODS OF THE KITCHEN, scientist construction area, nascar, marching band etc in this video which I think speaks for itself and dont even get me started on the fashion & visuals because OMG i’m dead. Their vlive showcase was amazing they were adorably funny at the same time being super handsome, theyre growing so fast ... this track is giving me so much of their previous albums Hellevator, District 9, Awaken, Miroh, Victory Song, Side Effects, Double Knot, and Levanter etc from beginning to end which makes me feel like they finally putting their storyline together in this new full album after so long of waiting. BTS “ON” MV - I know many have their theories and there’s no animal cruelty, the first time in awhile (seven years) they finally surprised me 👀 with so much symbolism using a live marching band along with church chorus and the moment I saw Jin battlefield w/ bird & empty cage after along battle, Jimin w/things of the past, blindfolded girl w/Tae broken wings & neck tattoo (represents infection), namjoon w/ animals & ship, thornbinded bleeding jungkook, Hobi open field of twisted trees w/passed out JK, Suga in underworld. Everything literally reminds everyone of lord of the rings and noah’s ark with maze runner combination of the lion king with the different time period outfits & scenes, apocalyptic fake love dance break, dove of hope, JK horn call of freedom while trying to understand his story then he does the young forever run up the rock smiling and i’m like 😱🤯 After watching the second time OMG OMG I think finally got the meaning toward the end Jin released the dove (represents JK), the horn call of freedom, walking through the wall, the firestorm and up the rock is them beginning of a new chapter with new songs, genres, and concepts. Regarding the wall I believe this is BTS’s way of showing that they’re ready to move onto the next chapter of hope & freedom showing how far theyve come and confidently walking up the pride rock b/c of how proud they are of their legacy. which is why they put their debut track “NO MORE DREAM” changing to “DREAM” (PAST MEETS PRESENT) *THERES SO MANY APOCALYPTIC REFERENCES* They finally put together their HYYH storyline which means they have completed that part of the story! As many know, even though no one wants to think about it but its moving closer to JIN’s enlistment 😭 probably Yoongi too or maybe all of them but nothing as been confirmed so far until then all seven will continue making music as a group plus JIN & the maknae line haven’t started their solo debuts on the side yet (we are still waiting for that) also it’s essential to show support for their younger brothers (juniors) TXT [Tomorrow by Together]. *Regarding the blindfold girl, there’s many theories....some say she could be innocence so that she doesn’t see the negative world then V uncovers her eyes to a better place and others say her along with the extra people represent the ARMY and its BTS way of showing the people who are blinded (not physically) to the positive impact the music has in the world and leading them to a better future but the true meaning behind the girl is she represents the little sister V lost (HYYH Storyline).
