For me, how you measure someone being smart or not is how fast or slow they understand and learn something they have absolutely no idea about - deal with for the first time. Knowledge is just that, knowledge. It doesn't have to do with how smart one is. And the majority if not all of these questions were "rigged" towards the "normies" knowledge and experience & age. If Ludwig had asked things more related to the knowledge obtained by the gamers and towards their interests, the gamers would do better if not one sided win. At the very least he could mix up the questions, 50% of them being knowledge towards what "normies" would have interest and know better and 50% of them being things that gamers would have interest and know better. But is is what it is.
Something that I would have done if I was with peter in that situation . Is I would actually still pressed the button, but I would have waited for suspense and just ***answered wrong*** so he gets all the money :D

This is a really good video so far. It feels very professional in a sense like it could be a program, but knowing that Ludwig is so rooted in Smash and used to just be commentating matches and shit makes it so authentic and real.

Unrelated, but when I realized you were basically doing cash cab that made me so happy. Both my grandparents that I was very close to passed away 2 years ago due to covid basically a month apart from each other. That heavily depends on the schools you went to. Like, the only reason I know about plasma, Bose-Einstein condensate and some of the more modern states of matter is because I’ve been on the internet for the majority of my life. We‘ve never, and I mean NEVER talked about any of these in class. The only times these were ever brought up was… 1. when I held a presentation on plasma in 5th grade, and… 2. when we talked about the sun for like 5 minutes in 10th grade physics. That’s it

53% of adults in the US have college degrees. Not having one actually puts you in the minority. I was surprised to learn this, I looked it up because I was going to comment that its unfair to have two college graduates compete representing the "average person" but it turns out to be just fine.

Got everything except the US presidents (3/5 for a UK-lad ain't bad, though), the shark bones, and the wager (they answered faster than I could put it together!). Absolutely love Peter's enthusiasm for the pure joy of correct answers, though. I've never really understood why people want prizes at quizzes. Getting the answers right is the prize!

The second largest country in the world by "land size" is not Canada. A significant portion of Canada's size is actually water. The true answer to that question is actually China, which is ~2% than the US and ~3% than Canada in pure land area, excluding water. imo should be replayed
But e.g. the answer to the question "At what temperature does water boil?" is also wrong, since it does not depend on a temperature but on the air pressure. That is why the water in the mountains boils at low temperatures (90°C)
