sojourn is quite possibly the worst character to cheat on, as you’d use a hack to lead your shots, but your alternate fire is hitscan so you’d miss it. absolutely hilarious

In defense of the team of the cheater ... when I used to play (2 years ago lol just as a gold player), I never understood whether someone in my team was cheating for real, or they were just being called out unfairly by salty opponents. I mean, how do you realise it without seeing the kill cam?
People can get real salty when they're losing. I was in a QP match the other day and someone on the enemy team accused me of aim botting because I was diffing them so hard on Pharah. If I'm getting called a cheater in QP when I'm not, I can just imagine what it's like during a sweatfest. Honestly I wouldn't draw a competitive match if the enemy team said someone on my team was cheating. Unless I could see they were doing something blatant like spin botting, or if they were getting WAY too many headshots on Widow.
@@bonez994 the enemy can and they can spot it on high rank. that is how others know about it bro. This is about if the cheater is on enemy team, you can spot right away. If cheater is on your team then enemy spot it No to mention, you literally can watch how cheater play in game. It is Hard dont get me wrong, but for dumb cheater it is very obvious to spot
@Estelle the original comment is regarding the cheater being on YOUR team. So yes the enemy can point it out, but as OP said, how do you know they're actually cheating or if the enemy is just salty? Realistically you can't, unless the cheats are that blatant. Sure you can watch them and see if they have bot movement but how often are you really going to be scrutinizing your teammates with everything going on in a comp match? Or pay more attention to them instead of the enemy team? I see what you're trying to say but OP's point still stands
I was watching this and it feels like the blue team worked it out very quickly because they made 100% sure to break LOS everytime The sad thing is even with poor hacks like this Blizzard's cheating system really needs to be looked at Maybe should have spent the 4 years they wasted on improving it to prevent this from happening
People who share these Replays should add a screenshot of the Match Stats. You can see them even after the match has ended from the Match Reports tab. Would be nice to see everyones stats :D
Its funny that the cheater was using a hitscan aimbot on sojourn. Also, props to the blue team for 1. Sojourn diffing them and 2. Being consistent at avoiding the cheater's LOS
I dabble in a lot of sojourn and I’ve never been bothered more by something then someone on sojourn shooting there rail at 10% it literally pisses me off so much
I have a question. If someone on my team is hacking, I'd want to throw. But also I don't want to just baselssly throw on someone falsely accusing or just being salty. How can I tell for sure if someone on my team is hacking?
don't worry, you WILL know who's hacking and not. i can understand that people with good aim can be confusing but you'll know the difference. aimbot, it looks more robotic (and locks on target almost immediately), while good players usually have consistency but sometimes miss their shots, they do follow but it's more natural and does not immediately lock on target. get what i'm saying?

The main reason for me to not hard throw a winnable game by forcing a draw, is the amount of times players lie about people hacking. Unless it’s really obvious or I got to see it for myself, I’m just gonna continue play the game and afterwards look at the replay. And usually to see that it was a false accusation
there is quite literally nothing to lose in forcing a draw on a map that is drawable. like actually literally, it will not be a loss. when all five people on the enemy team confirm that they think someone is hacking and you see them constantly in the kill feed, its not a reach to assume its true. the actual worst thing that can happen is you waste 5 minutes of your life. you can just admit you have no morals and would do anything for the freelo
@@catdaddie If believe every time someone accuses someone else of cheating, then every game would end in a draw. Overwatch has quite a bit of cheaters but not that much. In my experience people lie about it quite a bit and you can say that you don’t lose anything by a draw is not true. Cause you lose what could have been won. If it’s more obvious I’m more inclined to believe and would agree to a draw. But a lot of the times it’s just a pathetic attempt of the enemy to not get a loss. That has happened way too often for me to just believe on a strangers word. But you do you

lower ranks are horribly coordinated and most of the time can't even agree someone is hacking. Lots of low rank people only play 2-4 hours per week. We barely know what's going on with other hero skills. (Oh i shouldn't shoot dooms fist? huh TIL...oh there's a staircase there? cool...wait when did they change that?), We have chat disabled. We see alot of people pop-off strangely in low ranks...idk, whats happening.
Kinda smart thou... spread character lowers accuracy so account looks less sus... Although dude could just try and spend time getting good = lower accuracy and no reports
The sad thing is these ppl probably be better off not cheating if they just played a ton and grinder instead of cheating they could prob become decent maybe even good or great but they cheat
cheating in overwatch is so bad, im new to overwatch but it seems theres 3 slices to overwatch, mechanical skill, positioning, and game sense, just cheating isnt enough to flat out win. its close, but without the other 2 parts, it isnt effective. Its like making a pizza, with the best cheese in the world, but with dollar store dough and sauce...

To be fair though, how is someone on the cheaters team, like mercy, supposed to know? They can only rely on the words from the other team, and people are usually inclined to believe that it’s just the enemy team being salty if they call out someone’s hacking. Their team wouldn’t know unless it looked very obvious, which in this game probably wasn’t for the cheater’s team
The guy did jack shit on Sojourn and as soon as he switches to Soldier, suddenly becomes a god and is in the killfeed all the time... That's enough proof for his own team, there's being blind and there's willingly turning a blind eye.
Chill little Mercy main The person who submitted it literally said it was called out in chat so yes it was known, believed is another matter however. Now it's fine to not pay attention to killfeed or to not be able to put 2 and 2 together but don't go around telling others to get a brain lmao. Finally no one said anything about all Mercy players being here to only be boosted so no need to feel persecuted, it happens yes (not in this case) but it's not a generality.
