This location was absolutely incredible! Hidden somewhere in the middle of the Lincolnshire countryside lies a collection of incredibly rare classic cars! I don’t understand how people can collect so much stuff over the years and just leave so many items behind . That montego with the tree going through it , definitely shows nature taking things back. Absolutely love your videos I hope you keep exploring 👍

Yeah 1.9 Diesel no turbo , it was competition agaisnt the peugeot 205 xad 1.9 aswell , but the 205 can last longer then the german Vw

Yet another good one - thank you! I'm so glad that I clicked upon the little bell! It's interesting that your first car was a Fiesta. My wife still has a Mk IV from 2000. It's almost been around the clock three times and still has its first, original clutch! We did over three hundred miles in one day in it recently. These are indestructible if treated with respect.

Another great explore ! Ireland was full of Golf vans in the 80s and 90s most were 1.6 straight diesel - The Mk2 Golf you found there is a petrol and being in the UK is very rare indeed ! The old Montego Countryman made me smile ! Great find! Well done !

I would dearly love to own that Vauxhall Vuctor FD Estate, my Dad had one when I was little, he swapped tge smaller engine for the 3.0ltr and we travelled the country in it every weekend, usually Wales one week and the Lake District the next, we had an old G or F Reg Volvo Amazon Estate before that, happy days, I would do that Victor up no matter the cost just for sentimental sake, and to make sure that another one finally takes to the road again rather than lose yet another example of our motoring heritage.

I’ve been looking for an Amazon Estate or Station Wagons we call them in Australia, but they are very rare here. I’ve had 240 and 245 wagons, but not an Amazon.

First Rover has no tax from 2006, Transit had last MOT in 2010, second Rover is untaxed from 1991. Isuzus MOT ran out on 2017, Volkswagen is standing from 2002 and so on.

I think the Vaxuhsll estate is Ventora/Victor made from 1967-76..Vaxuhall is a sister company to Holden an Australian company so models car can look the same or named differently.

Another good video trying to catch up with them all after only stumbling across your channel in the last month or so, I’m not really a car person but do love land rovers and tractors anything todo with farming being that’s my background, for me I would want you do look at the tractors and diggers and equipment a bit more than you do, having said that I am not complaining about your videos.

Class video mate, enjoyed following your exploration of the site. That's a series 2a Lightweight Landrover at the end, a 68 or early 69 having the lights in the grill, very rare and it's very tidy looking.

The old tool looks to me to be a manual plunge morticer, used for putting slots in fence posts.

The Green Estate is certainly a Victor Estate FD, There was also A Vauxhall Ventura which used the same body shell but had a 3.3 litre engine as used in the Vauxhall Cresta

this is a Ventura est NOT a Victor, the Victor only had 2 headlights ,and the Ventura had 4 headlights , go and get your facts right , i worked for Vauxhall for a min of 8 years .

@@robertgarrett4046 Sorry Robert, But all FD,s whether they where Victors or Ventura’s had double headlights, The reason I know, My father had a Vauxhall Garage, I grow up into the business,I am sure you are thinking of the Victor FE, That had a single headlamp each side, If still in doubt have a google on past pictures!

It's a Vauxhall Victor FD from about 1967 to 1971. They had either a 1600 or 2000 engine. I had the later FE Victor.

It's always very sad to see rare cars or cars that were once common but hardly seen now. I can't drive due to a health condition but I love cars. To see a Rover V8 just lying abandoned is such a shame. And I haven't seen a Monteago for years. A great video and I'm glad this place has been documented

At 13:22 ( give or take ) my first thought it looked a bit like a Chevrolet Chevelle late 60's early 70's kind of vintage. but as you got closer the front grill was wrng and so was the back. then revelation. Vauxhaul is a company under the GM umbrella. The Chevelles over here would have been powered by anything from like a 235 inline 6 to perhaps a 427 or 454 big block .

the land rover near the end of the vid (20mins in) is a lightweight or air portable, they could strip them down and use a cradle and chuck them out of a plane, its got to be around 50 years old.

The Land Rover at the end was a military Series 3 Air Transportable, commonly known as the Lightweight. Slimmed down to be dropped from aircraft and parachute to earth.

Great video! I have a neighboring farm (in the US) who's back field and yard has striking similarities to this farm. Kept every single vehicle and piece of machinery going back 3 generations. And current generation won't part with any for any price.

That old boxy land rover is called a series 2 lightweight and they were designed and used in the army in the 60s to 80s

Wonder how solid those Rover P6s were? Good quick way to tell is open the back door and see if there's anything left of the floor and inner wheelarch. They're creating up in value and that V8 would be desirable.

That Mini Van (from 1978 to 1983 known as the Mini 95) always had the outer door hinges and the old style rounded shaped grille, even up to 1983 when it ended its production run. And so, having those hinges does not make it an early one, if it was an early one it would be a pile of oxidised rust dust by now, the colour also makes it more likely to be a late 1970's to early 1980's model which is a late model for the van variant.

Beija Flor the mini van in this video has a smooth non ribbed roof I’m sure that makes it 60’s I have a 70 and the roof is ribbed, they did change subtle things but your right they all had external hinges

Not quite a Vauxhall victor, but a ventora. Double headlights give it away. In estate form uber rare.

Double headlights don't mean it was not a Victor, we had a Victor FD with double headlights, this is a Victor FD, the Ventora never came in estate form, it only came in a saloon form with a 3ltr Cresta engine and smaller front disc brakes than the Victor FD, it also has a different grille than the Victor FD saloon.
