Seriously that snake is just going to take off scared when you grab the swimbait. I just casted a Heddon Lucky13 into a tree, I was doing the snap the line thing to try and get it off, and the line snapped back into my glasses knocking them off my face, I heard them sliding across the fishing pier I was on, and then bloop into 15' deep muddy water. That cost me 300 bucks 2 days ago, and the new glasses won't be ready for 2 weeks...FishOn...Jim
Snake is a harmless watersnake, but you spent $180 on a fishing lure you can make youself.. if you got money like that to throw around, "the move" would be to invest or buy a house
I agree 180 for a lure is crazy and I feel like it's just not worth it. There's no way it does anything much better than a 30$ lure but that's my opinion. But if your ok with spending that on a lure that you can lose then by all means do what makes you happy
@@kalesteinc9934 ik I was just stating my opinion ik they are better or more realistic. I was just saying I don't feel like it's worth it and a 30$ lure does the same job. It's a fish it's not gonna know that it's fake
I’ve had a really bad experience with a snake falling from a bridge. Me and my mom were fishing under a bridge which was next to a fish hatchery so obviously a lot of snakes, anyway we get our lines in the water and about five minutes pass and a car goes over the bridge, and something fell into the water and we thought it was a branch or something like that but then a snake came up in shock from the fall turns out it was a cotton mouth
Throw the rod. You unattached the reel and drop it. You hold the line up above your head and then launch the rod down the line. It hits the swimbait freeing it then you reel the rod and bait in together
@@user-pr4no4yi1p I buy high quality rods and they do just fine using this method. Also I’m not sure how much his rod cost but the bait seemed pretty expensive
...I had a pastor say that he was cheap, going out w/ten golf balls and coming back w/15 was a good day. I went out w/one swimbait, came back w/3. It was a good day fishing
Maybe use ur bass boat to get about 6 feet away... Then use the 6'6-7ft rod in your hand and to get that snake moving along somewhere else. Why we gotta complicate things by asking questions?
So for this what i do is spool some line out till you can wrap it around your handle without the rod bending. Then wrap the line around your handle till it's tight, slowly but firmly pull on the line. It's it starts to come but not completely free keep wrapping the line around your handle and repeat. This allows you to retrieve lures without the chance of breaking your rod from trying to "set" it to the lures free. This method has worked great but I've heard the bow string method works as well.
