Yeah, this particular skulltrick should be bannable 100%. I mean if trade scams, where someone would withdraw item or change it for something else (i.e. changing veracs skirt for iron plateskirt) are a bannable offense, then how can this not be bannable? With trading scams you have to click through 2 interfaces without checking the actual trade to get scammed. With this skulltrick its very hard to notice, even if you do pay attention. Like whos gonna be checking the difference between l and I during a fight?

@santa's brother that's where you'd be wrong if we were to talk about rules or laws. breaking a rule is breaking a rule regardless of what you make of it. as far as jagex is concerned, scamming is the second highest offense next to botting. the only reason jagex has let this go thus far, is because they're not sure if they should consider it a scam or not. but considering you usually get more backlash than praise for these kinds of tricks, i'd say it speaks for itself if you wish for pvp to remain a popular activity.

@santa's brother except it does. its not the pvmers but the pkers who complain about the community getting smaller. and the cause is obvious. we got skull tricks abusing game mechanics, and a power creep that gets higher and higher so you that you can drop people even faster, but also easier. and these videos are a good example to show what is reflected on the forums and polls. these youtubers draw thousands of views to give you an idea of what the average person thinks of it. the average active playerbase in osrs is literally around 100k.

@santa's brother correct. people look at it from a business perspective. and that might be why there's plenty of conflict with the pvp system. rolling damage dice and being able to get lured and/or skulltricked doesn't fit into a reliable business model in the average adult's head. in fact if you think about it, the fact that some people need these kinds of methods to make gp kind of reinforces it. they need that borderline acceptable leverage to consistently earn big.
