Yep, very weird, never had a skill just dissappear like that. I've had them stop spawning and obv the blood Swords stuff but this one is odd. At least I got it recorded so the devs can figure it out
I thought they fixed it with the blood Swords fix :( I'm not even sure what triggered it, I've never had the skill straight up, dissappear from the endscreen
Summons gain from your movement speed IIRC so they match you. You can get summon specific movement speed that actually makes them even faster than you though which is extremely useful.
@@gamingwithjeff Oh definitely, they are pretty derpy in that regard. The way the game forces you to get shrines to properly power scale during runs means that it would behoove the dev(s) to make summons "lead" you based on where you are walking. Summons should primarily focus on enemies in that frontal arc and ignore rearward enemies unless they come within a certain radius of the player character at which point they would focus that enemy down and then swap back to fighting on the frontal arc. Make it so it takes a few seconds before they start doing this behavior so the player can maneuver when they want to hold ground without losing 360-degree coverage but if you walk past the "edge" of the screen from where you were static, they will pretty much immediately swap to that frontal screening behavior.
It increases the number of summons you get from some skills. They also have different rates. For example you need +5 summon count before you start getting extra dragons
Sure, the first thing is to make sure you get all your talent points. Then, focus on getting gear sets for certain damage types. Because damage is multiplicative you generally want to stack one damage type and invest into 1-2 damage skills when leveling up.
I noticed that you aren't really going for locations/shrines or whatever they are called that much. You mostly run in circles collecting the exp, isnt that kind of suboptimal? I always rush from location to the next one as fast a possible and hope for a exp collecting shrine here and there. Do you think it doesnt matter or you just dont care as much?
it matters a ton, it's just a problem with summoner builds currently. If you beeline to shrines like on other builds they will fall behind and you get blasted by enemies while they catch up.
@@gamingwithjeff Ahh I didn't think about that since I dont play summoner builds. thanks for the response^^ maybe they will add a catch up mechanic for summons in the future
To spawn skeletons from necromany you need to kill enemies with your base attack. But based on the description they should spawn on every kill, I always thought the skill was working right, guess not.
Apparently it's not a new bug, but it's the first time I've seen it erase the skill from the end screen. A similar thing used to happen with blood swords
I'm pretty new at this game and I'm trying to figure out the progression. When you are starting to build up a new character is it ideal to just run map 1 with no "heat" (the thing that increases rarity) a bunch of times to start unlocking the characters traits? When is the time to start turning the heat level up ideally? And when should I be running the 2nd map? The only character I've beaten map 1 with is nixi and it was after multiple tries and getting a lot of her skills unlocked and gear upgrades with no heat levels turned on
I think the goal is to get to be able to clear act 2 no heat asap. (It gives double the Talent points) It's really going to depend on your gear/game knowledge when you are able to do that though. I would say once you have all purple tier one gear give it a try and see how it goes.
@@gamingwithjeff so I should run act 1 without heat to get a full set of purple gear and then take the characters into act 2 and grind until I can clear it?
