I am a Hindu and let me tell you that the first statue is of Goddess "Laxmi" who is the Goddess of wealth and the second statue is of Lord "Ganesha" who is the God of wisdom. On the festival of Diwali (festival of light), they both are preached together and then are flown to the river as you said river is a sign of endless life. You are lucky to find them together. Keep them with yourself at a clean place in your house and trust me your vault will always be full of money.

9:27 She is Goddess Laxmi, most probably made of aluminum or silver. 10:00 that book might be book of mantras and aarti which we recite while praying a God. 10:12 it's a miniature throne (Singhasan/Aasni) on which we keep small idols of Goddess Laxmi and God Ganesha during prayers. 10:47 that's Lord Ganesha.. Important note:- these are not so costly items($$$) although have religious value in India and can be found in almost all houses.

@@rachit4401 This is called Visarjan. Specially after Deepawali puja or Ganesh/Laxmi puja at home, after 1-2 days these idols are immersed in holy rivers/pounds. So it's basically a ritual after Puja.

@@rachit4401 Brother India is a Big country, the rituals you are observing in Maharashtra/Western India may not be done in other part of our country. In northern India they immerse the idols after Deepawali/Kali puja. The person who has done it was may be from North India.

I am Hindu and the elephant god you found name is Ganesh ji which is a god that we worship and the other god is Lakshmi which is a female god and is the wife of god Vishnu and Vishnu is the main god. The other thing is a bed that some of the little gods named Ludo Gopal sleep on all of these thing are very good and lucky that you found and yes keep them because they take all the negative energy away. That is actually an idol of Goddess Laxmi (God of wealth), the second one being Lord Ganapati ..and yes usually there is a tradition to flow such valuables into the river, its a part of Indian culture ...You are lucky to find those, enjoy!

The Statue that you found from the river is a goddess from India and she is called '" Maha Lakshmi " And the elephant statue is also a god from India called "Lord Ganapathy". And the book and the chair structured things are usually used for devotional kind of things in India . And i'am pretty sure that you and your family will live long and stay blessed...
