The waiting furniture is all about being uncomfortable for sleeping. You couldn’t lie on those bevelled long seats, the three chairs in a row have arms to stop sleeping and all the shelters have gaps at the bottom to cause windchill if a person tries to sleep.
The new Levenmouth Rail Link is due to open less than a week time with ScotRail to use Class 158 and Class 170 to Leven. Plus East Kilbride line should hopefully be electrified so that Class 380, Class 320 and Class 385 can operate on the newly electrified East Kilbride line.
Excellent Simon. Summer in Scotland just means that the rain is warmer lol. I like the arched retaining wall at the last station. A day on the trains for £1.50p real value for money cheers Andy
Great video, Simon! For a while back in the 1990s, I used to commute from High Street to Barnhill for a part-time job. It's nice to see that the line is still going strong and has had a tiny bit of modernisation in some places!
@@Sim0nTrains I wasn't into trains back then, but I do remember there being a mix of different types. Looking at what was used at that time (which would be 1995/96), it was probably mainly 320s but maybe with some 303s mixed in as well
brilliant video im liking all the stations & theres def lots of lovely stations in the Glasgow area some which ive seen for myself a few weeks ago when i spent a day in Glasgow & after i said to myself i wouldnt mind spending a week in Glasgow as i think theres more to explore in the Glasgow area
Excellent video Cyber 👍 I think the main issue with the waiting "shelter" at Barnhill is that the roof is at a weird angle, making it useless in bad weather
That is my local line. Thanks for sharing. I use the train a few times a week from Duke Street to Charing Cross. There are empty stock movements on the line with 156s and 158s in the very early mornings and late nights going to and from Corkerhill Depot.
You’d have thought that would have made better waiting shelters for the Scottish weather 😜 that shelter reminds me of the solar panels you see above many European car parks!
Springburn is a very dangerous aresto gon i know i know the arwa its high crine snd full of bad people stay safe hope u have weapons to protect yourself
