I work on Porsche’s for a living and I can promise you that you will never regret owning a GT3. I genuinely can’t name a better Porsche for you to buy for the price, the sound, the experience, and just the feeling of hearing that engine scream at 9k rpm’s while you’re driving around the track. Genuinely an amazing experience on its own

Im sure the GT3 has rear wheel steering, keep that in mind Mat, then again its deffo a journey to watch and no doubt must be a wholesome experience to work on different machines with different specs for a living. Living the dream dude, keep at it.
Mat - the channel is excellent. There's a nice balance of technical and enthusiasm. I greatly admire your mindset in the amount of research you put into aquiring the parts and fixing up the cars. As for this project, get BOTH the Bentley and the GT3. Hannah will thank you for it and you know that Bentley's nagging at the back of your mind. But .... the opportunity of that GT3, in a gorgeous blue shouldn't be missed. You'll look back and say "I wish I'd bought that ... when I had the opportunity".
Had exactly that gt3 in yellow , and I can tell you it’s the nicest car I have ever driven in my life , I don’t regret anything more that selling my gt3 , it’s so nice for everyday usage aswell as a track monster , I also think 98 percent of your viewers would love to see the rebuild on this and see you on the track with it after , get the Porsche !!!😂
This variant of the GT3, absolutely stunning! And I don`t think the Porchse will run you more than 30k in repairs and it will have a higher residual value at the end of the day.
@@MrZoranbebek have you watched even one video on this channel? Mat doesn't invest that type of money in his rebuilds dude. Just 'cause you have to drive your car to the dealership to have a bulb replaced for 100$, doesn't mean we all follow that route. You obviously have no clue when it comes to DIY. Luckly, you have youtube and you can have a crack at it.

Hands down the GT3. In my opinion it’s a better car for your channel as the community clearly likes the Porsche content, plus that gen of GT3 was amazing. The Bentley is really nice and to have that W12 engine would be awesome as nowadays that kind of engine is starting to be a thing of the past, but… come on, it’s a Porsche 911 GT3 for god sake, get that!😂

Matt I love the Porsche 911 GT3 it is such a amazing car and a beauty too! BUT I feel like I’m going to have to go with Hannah on this one. I think you can do something really nice with that Bentley and it will be abit different to your current fleet of cars. Much love keep up the amazing work 💯
As a rough guestimate, the gt3 is into 60k plus repair... dependent on the pillar. Bear in mind the materials used in the construction and methods required to repair it.
Definitely the GT3. That engine is just next level, especially if you get an aftermarket exhaust. I’d definitely say Dundon Motorsports sounds the best on the 4.0.
I dont get why you would waste money on a perfectly good performing as stock, car. Adding all the boy racer bolt on "Halfords" goodies just cheapens it IMHO
The Bentley - convertibles have what’s called a ROPS - roll over protection system. So upon impact if it was to flip, that shoots out at the back as you have no B pillar to protect you
I think I'd go with the Bentley. Also, Hannah's a natural on camera. She should definitely feature more and the chemistry between you both is great. Fantastic channel
With the remarkable direction GT3 prices have gone (and continue to go) there is really no debate. Don't get excited about the CGT interior quality, it is actually only skin deep with cosmetic improvements over the last gen but the actual substance and build was better in the earlier models. (You prob got all hung up at the moment and i am sure you do know, but you were often referring to the Porsche as a straight six). Voting for the GT3.

The porsche is definitely the more anticipated and exciting project. It’ll be more enjoyable to drive than the Bentley too. Keep up the good content mat!
Judging by my former Bentley Turbo R if you get a Bentley to scream you possibly get to hear the clock purring. But I suspect that the modern Bentleys have possibly given in to the current trend of wailing, with the driver pretending that he is Stirling Moss, as immaturity sweeps the nation following routine attendance at playground universities. Leaving school at 14 (like my father) has been usurped by 24 years. Hannah is unusually mature and quite classy. Best rely on her judgement if you have any mature customers. She recognises an exceptional sterling mixture of both vehicle quality and pampering class - the Bentley!
As I am really a Bentley guy, I would normally say: Take the Bentley. But honestly: The roof will cost you a lot to repair or replace, as well as the front fender holding structure and, as you said, the dashboard. Because this car is pretty new, it might be more expensive than your last Conti GT. Because of that, I would tend to the Porsche. It's pretty cool, the damage seems to be repairable for a budget that seems to be okay. And hey, it's a GT3. As soon as I have repaired my repair shop, I'll go and try to make some things work on my mostly burned Continental GT. Greetings from Germany Flying Bee
FYI on people considering purchasing wreck car beside the obvious salvage title. When a car gets in a wreck a lot of times the transmission/gear teeth get sheered from the sudden stop of wheel spin .
11:58 100Nm of torque is normal for doing up a centre-lock nut and normal wheel nuts! also they dont use a huge long breaker bar to get it off there is a thing called a battery operated impact wrench.
I gotta say, Hanna is a great sport and has been there wrenching with you. If she likes the Bentley.....put a ring in the glovebox because she deserves it. (Thanks Hanna I got the check and cashed it!).
The Bentley is a great colour combo but I do think you'd get more out of the Porsche, including headaches😀, as well as content. Saw the Aston on the A46 heading towards Lincoln last Friday lunchtime, only for a second or two but it looked great in the red👍
I used to do this myself. I would stay away from airbags personally .. but it seems you have fixed quite a few and have all that figured out. Also depending on the structural damage, we would use a “frame machine” (not a real frame machine) but had it almost down to a science. Cheers mate, keep up the good work . Get a 1st gen McLaren F1 if you can. I believe that’s the ultimate machine!
That GT3 will get you excited a lot of the time but the Bentley will wow you every single day you open the door and go for a drive, the difference here is class, already having the Aston Martin I'd go for the Bentley.
If i was able to do what you do Mat. I would get the gt3 as I imagine you wanted one before you got the cayman s. Then once the cayman s is finished raffle it off and put the money towards fixing the gt3. Keep up the good work man. Love the work and videos

I'm torn: on one hand the Bentley is super posh, and that interior is STUNNING! However, the dash repair is almost a deal breaker on it. I'm old and would appreciate the Ride/Comfort of the Bentley over the race oriented GT3. That Porsche looks like an easier, and far cheaper repair than the Bentley (especially with the front structural damage) and not to mention the joy in your face when you were fawning over the GT3! Or, buy them both? If the entry price is cheap enough, why not?

Ahhhhh, I think up front cost the Porsche will cost a lot, but the Porsche will hold value better than the Bentley. The market is set to say bye to the combustable engine :-)... Porsche for me that will appreciate nicely in time to come. Great insight Team MA :-) Peace!

the 911 and the Bentley are all nice, but the audi would make a perfect fit for the channel. as you evolve you start to forget that people watch these videos because of the budget. you started off with budget cars that people could potentially afford, that is why the channel has grown so much. in my opinion , if you start to buy Bentleys and porches with 50k-100k then you change the formula of the channel and lot's of people won't be interested anymore
Well Hannah l would purchase the porch as it's got more going for it and the more work you too can do on it to make it into a proper sports car with a louder engine
it sounds ultra posh, but when you realize that its illegal throughout scandinavia to use barbed wired as fence for your farm animals then its a bit more down to earth. Its not like the cattle or w/e has been raised ONLY for the purpose of making scar-free leather for Bentleys -They just happen to have acces to leather where they can find larger pieces without imperfections, without hiding all the cuts behind clever use if stitches n folds, and so they use it. The same leather is used for expensive handbags and no-name/no-brand leather clothings alike..
Love a performance car so I should say the GT3, however I'm drawn towards the Bentley and it's because of that interior, it's out of this world colour yeah nightmare for the dashboard match but that Porsche is surely more work and already more money ? Easy life agree with the wife Matt !
