Yeah, till you try to get a Lost Title and they take it for there auction. In Michigan you used to have them Tagged then after the date you could get the Title then they started to take them instead of giving Lost Title.
Noo why you towing that on the rear wheels!??? That's a RWD car you have to lift the back wheels and pull on the front wheels. Sweet ride though, that will give you years of reliability and comfort driving experience. If you don't want it clean it up and you can sell it for a decent price as they are pretty desirable cars among the mechanic community as they are an iconic car.
I found an old Firebird in the woods and dragged it home with me, it was near what used to be a house 20 years ago and was clearly not known to anyone alive today so I just snatched it up, filed for a title of abandonment (Virginia) and 30 days later I was the official new owner of a 1978 Firebird
@@badathive2281 How does that make a difference? Over here, anything that is abandoned still has an owner (and if that one is dead and has no heirs, then the state or country is the owner).
