I Found An Error Jar Of Hot Salsa 

Here in New Mexico green chile is a specific type of pepper with a variety of strains (Barker, NuMex Extra hot, Big Jim, etc.) that all have slightly different flavors and a wide spread in heat levels. The NM chile pepper is similar to the Anaheim in terms of how it looks. Whenever you see "green chile" referred to in NM it's implied that it's the NM chile pepper.

There's something about arbols... my local grocerie store sells big bags of dried arbol pods and when crushed up they are MUCH hotter than your typical crushed "red pepper".

There's a Mexican restaurant/grocery store in my town that has some of the best salsa I've ever had. It has the perfect amount of spice and flavor. It's so fresh every time I have it you can taste all the ingredients clearly and you can tell it's made with love.

Mrs. Referno's Ghost Pepper Salsa was my first introduction to super hot peppers. I will never forget it the endorphin dump I got from it, I still eat it to this day. Just no more endorphin dumps for me unless it has an extract in it. I've killed my mouth and stomach too many times lol.

Consistency! This is one of the reasons Tapotio isn't one of my go to table sauces. Cholula is far more consistent. IMO.

One time I got ordered 2 orders of buffalo chicken strips at Denny’s and this particular batch of buffalo sauce was easily twice as strong

That's fascinating. I wonder if that batch variation could be cause by "rogue" jalapenos? It's happened to me with bagged chips and salsa a few times.

My guess on the first one is Hatch Chiles. They sell small cans of roasted Hatch peppers that are better than the generic green Chiles in a can.

I got the Los Calientes Pringles from Walmart a while ago and idk what was up with them. They were so stingy hot in comparison to the sauce, which I could straight up drink. I could only stand to eat 4 or 5 of them before I had to quit because it felt like someone was straight up stabbing my tongue. Like a chemical burn of sorts. They were considerably hotter than the Paqui ghost pepper chips, so that says something. I believe I got some sort of “error” tube of those Pringles.

Yes the ghost pepper version is hot, that is the only salsa I buy. For me I can just keep eating it, when I stop I when I really notice the heat and then the pain.

I bought a jar of the carolina reaper mash puree from pepper Joe's and did a spoon of it and tasted so nasty and their was alot of heat going on.

I am currently on the toilet and I can confirm that the batches are not consistent. The first one I tried of the arriba hot was indeed hot but the second one tasted like some jerk went freestyle on the capsaicin extract.

Mrs. Renfro's is my go to pickled jalapeno brand. Just Like Marie Sharp's is my go to hot sauce brand. (sorry had to throw it in there)

Sooo...was it the hotest one, you never rated it? I have had products do this before, my mom makes enchiladas sometimes and uses mild red sauce(as usual is on enchiladas)but one time it stung, was significantly hotter and I aye 2 and stopped(usually I could eat the while pan haha)I looked at the can in trash and it said mild but I think they put the wrong product in it cuz it was anything but mild haha. Great Idea here and always fun to have andy on, love the channel brain 😎👌👏
