@@Khaizen10 as he gets bumped, 1 he doesnt know where his teammate is, 2 he has 0 boost, and the opponent is heading towards his boost, if he just drives normally, it might end up on a goal, but those chain dashes helps him get back at basically the same time the opponent does, if a goal were to happed, he's there to try and save, instead of not being there at all, so yes, it was necessary
finally Dark looks strong. he no longer goes fast just for the sake of going fast but he controls the game and gives his teammate the opportunity to play without being cut over and over
The speed of which dark switches between offence and defence is wild, taking a second and a half to go from the floor to the roof and challenge all in one go. Its more insane as well since he is 15 yet has speed unmatched by any other top player. Also kinda funny how dark can go too fast even for himself at times.
0:34 This is actually very interesting. It is sort of the SEER bot handoff meta but the reset is used very late which throws off opponents. With better comms this could've been an open net to his teammate
Finally a Dark video, ngl I only watch Dark on your channel. Not because other videos aren’t great, just because for me Dark is one of the most entertaining players to watch.
Dark is aggressive to the point that his teammates gotta let him do his thing, hence the 1000+ points in both games. Don't get me wrong if his teammates got more comfy they would have more impact but its hard to be comfy with the top 100 version of a c3. Top pros can do it but bubble players seem to struggle with him sometimes.
Half the goals were overcommits by dark as an example, not hating or anything. Him limit testing 24/7 is a great thing for rocket league as a whole once Dark figures it out he will be a menace in rlcs and push the meta on speed.
Sometimes I think dark over complicates offence. He's trying to clip everytime and often it is defended, and then dark is unable to help his teammate defend a counter attack. If you're his team mate you will feel you need to just stay back all the time.
You actually need to be reading dark very good so you can also push forward and help him in offense. Dark´s defense is actually very underatet so his teammate can rely on his defense and play more agressive.
He is far from the best player, we all know that but his playstyle is super entertaining which is why he's featured so much. That's not equivalent to being overrated.
ofcourse the opponents always cockblock his soloplays, in champ 2 im pretty much dark and these players are scared of my aerials plays or something to always insta chall me
