In this Goodwill thrift with me I am shopping right when they open on a Sunday morning and yesterday was their big Red Tag sale. It will be interesting to see what is on the shelves! I find some hidden treasure for sure! Thrift with me and see what I found to resell!

Personally, I would put the Golden Nugget memorabilia, some of the art and the glassware into a specialist sale with an auction house such as Sotherbys, that way they can be seen by a wider audience (museums etc worldwide) and you can get a premium price for them. They should be seen by specialist collectors who wouldnt normally use Ebay or private reseller networks.

The biggest reason I believe that you should use a professional auction company is because they will be on the line for the pieces if they break or get lost in transit; and they’re likely to know how much money people can and are willing to spend (the ability to pay part of that equation is super important right now)! That is why I’m inclined to recommend the professional auction houses. YOU are a professional, as well, but the caliber of your buyers are, in general, less likely to be able to pay humongous auction bids. And you do have good clientele able to pay quite a bit! And almost certainly some who could bid with the biggies… but there will be WAY MORE biggies at an auction house.

You and Tiffany are resellers first and RU-vidrs 2nd. Other channels are getting boring because they are just store hopping for content. Others struggle to keep an interesting dialogue going. If Noah would like a smoker, pick up the wood chips. They're expensive in stores. I bought my husband a smoker two Christmases back and it is the most wonderful, easiest thing to use. I don't know how to use the grill but I've got the smoker down to a science. The results of all we've made on it are amazing!

You really need to wear cotton gloves when touching artwork and books that are collectible. Hand grease transfers and speeds up the deterioration of paper and oils. As a reseller, we need to help preserve.

KEEP THE GOLDEN NUGGET stuff together. Make sure they go to a good home, or keep them for yourself. Hoah ( sorry if spelled ) wrong is one lucky kid Shelby Cobra is SUCH a BEAUTIFUL car. My husband would love to own one, but, way to pricey for us. The art is FANTASTIC, great finds. Have fun selling it.❤

I love the Richard Neutra book. He is such an iconic architest of the Mid Century movement. The Golde Nugget bookends and art glass is stunning. I would have bought it for $500, too!!

It always makes me giggle when I see things on the shelves in your videos or Tiffany's videos and then I notice them in the other ones video😂 I also notice usually if one of you leaves it the other does too. Just goes to show you that you gals know your stuff! 😉 I saw on one of your recent videos how you and Tiffany both attended a VIP event at Goodwill and were able to share your opinions with them on things you talk about all the time loke the issues with their pricing, loud music, and weird no tag no sale, etc ...I really hope they listen to you.

Hi Danni, I watched that video of mansion's estate sale. You came away with art items that were so fabulous and a few author signed even. I am happy for you. I follow more than a few resellers that rarely go to Goodwill anymore. Not because of the prices so much, but because of all the damaged merchandise, which they can not, like you, pass it on to their customer. One of the reasons I buy from certain resellers, is their reputation of not selling junk chipped or worn out, cracked merchandise. But I can trust them with the best. There are plenty of antique shops, estate sales; even known yard sales that they would rather go. Not sure about Vegas area. You might have to drive some, but it should be worth it. ❤❤❤

Usually I shop at GW on Sundays. Seems to be the best day for me. But this past week, there was mostly junk, broken stuff, plush and some good things except their favorite price of the day was $6.99. I usually find good stuff for less. I usually spend about 100-150 a week. This week $53. Try again next week.😊❤

Those hatboxes are not actually sold for hats. They have the shape of a traditional hatbox but are used to store anything you would store in square or rectangular storage boxes.

Concerning the nativity candle, once it has been burned a little and you have a small hollow, I would put a tea light in and burn those rather than spoil the carving further down.

You talking about teaching your viewers how to resell thrifted objects raised a question in my mind. I’ve noticed that sometimes you say you don’t ’feel like dealing with’ certain types of merchandise that you find when you are thrifting. I realize that you are already very very successful at this, so in a way that’s a luxury you can afford yourself. Do you think that would apply to people just starting out-I guess I’m thinking about the ‘you have to pay your dues’ aspect of building up a business? Or is that part of deciding what a reseller wants his/her niche to be in the business of reselling? Sorry this is so long, I’m having trouble explaining what I mean. Love your videos and I have tons of respect for the work you have done and do to keep your business thriving. Thanks!

I know I'm not Danni - but I've been reselling for 10 years and I can offer my little insight. IF I buy something I don't feel like dealing with, it gets pushed to the side and I always can find other items to list. This then becomes a pile of regret as I may never get around to listing it or if I do and I sell it, then the reasons I didn't feel like dealing with it come back to haunt me. For example, I have small items as my inventory. I rarely sell anything bigger than 8x8x8. I never sell anything oversized (bigger than 12x12x12). Part of this is because I have a small space for inventory storage. So I have boxes and shipping materials that handle only smaller items. IF I list a large item and sell it, I always have a headache trying to find a box. So it's stuff like this that goes into the assessment that I don't "feel like dealing with" certain types of merchandise. Hope that helps!!!

The sooner you can hone in on what motivates you and gets you listing consistently the better! You will learn through trial and error what you enjoy and what you don't, so if you buy some things with this knowledge in mind - certain things will click and you will say yup not buying this again! Also learning who the customers in your niche are and what they love will help you fine tune your niche!

Hi Dani, If you try using a regular eraser on marker marks on items it does a great job. And for any other resellers the eraser is amazing. Dies wonders. I used it on a box the other day. And the price came right off. Blessings & Love to all. Im also a reseller from Des moines Iowa

we salvaged my Mom's wooden lazy susan with the different little indentations with food grade mineral oil- took a few coats- but looks like it did in the 70's and almost brand new
