I decided to set out in Layton Lakes to hunt Coyotes exclusively, to see if we could find a Diamond or a Rare - both very hard things to find! Coyotes are one of the toughest diamonds in the game and the rares are even harder to find or spawn! It turned out to be a pretty INSANE HUNT! We managed to come away with not one but TWO RARES - one being a DREAM RARE of mine - a VERY RARE COYOTE!!! I wasn't sure he was that fur type until I went to go pick him up! This thing is cooler than a Great One to me! Let's GO!!!!

I've noticed a lot of animal glitching the past few of my streams as well. Nice job. I need only TO do that at Layton to be finished with the SP progression (shoot coyotes). Enjoyed the content as always.

Whatttt.. I thought this was going to be rarer 😄 I've got this one but mine only scored 38.6 (still a silver) I love how they're more sooty with a white underneath rather than a jet black. But a jet black would actually be very cool!!! My dream rare would be a diamond albino coyote. I keep shooting them in layton just to respawn one 😃

For console players, just press the button twice that you use to bring up the menu. It will set the dog to track!

Side note, the only water source on the map they won't be at is that small lake highlighted on your map for the Vualez #5 mission. That made it a huge pain to complete

Nice Yote harvest especially the melanistic one. Wow! That's not in too many people's lodges for sure. I've never seen one before. I did grab a piebald gold yote off the Layton Lakes map recently during the agonizing Vualez story thread in the missions. She was a Coyote obsessed nut of the ages. It was a great exercise in discipline tho because it forces ya to get creative in completing it due to all the stipulations and area restrictions, heart shots, in close bow, etc. Had to pull out all the stops to finish. Finished all the Lakes missions as well as all the other maps missions save Emerald Coast for the piebald Magpie goose harvest, photo of a melanistic Bentang, harvest a lueucistic Kangaroo. And Parque Fernando with the Diamond list for the mission trophy lodge. Layton was def a tough map as you pointed out. Glad to see someone else grind out the coyotes for a change.

They're not that rare. I got mine on the multi player without even looking. You do get a lot of rares on multilayer I don't know why that is.. but. But I've always got a piebald and albino on my own map

@roadwary56 true that. I have done at times but it can be very annoying. Get some creepy players following you around AND the time is always set at 00:00 so you don't know when you're joining in at PLUS you have to have a playstion plus account Yep. My mistake!
