What's kickin', y'all?! Thanks to all of the awesome shiny hunters who came out to Fossil Week 2023 with myself and ‪@PokeToT‬ ! We had an absolute blast!
I found an absolute DREAM shiny Pokemon of mine this year, as well as something really unique that you can't hunt very often in the wild!

How do you hunt for the shiny cranidos?

In Platinum Version, you'll need to find a Skull fossil in the Underground by mining walls. They're relatively rare, and your Trainer ID must end in an odd number, otherwise you'll find Shield Fossils. Once you have the fossil, head to Oreburgh and drop the fossil off with the scientist behind the counter at the museum. Leave the building and walk back up to him and save before talking to him. Then, you can talk to him to receive Cranidos! Check to see if it's shiny. If it's not, soft reset and rinse and repeat! Best of luck!
