I think the set is amazing, personally. I don't mind the smaller quantities and the prices can be a bit high at stores like Walmart and stuff, but the multiple rarities among all of the cards is what seals the deal. Finally they're taking the OCG approach and I honestly hope they keep making sets like this. It makes the necessary staple cards actually affordable!
I wish every set had multiple rarities. Konami is doing what they always do with the new Valiant Smashers set and making most of the Centur-Ion cards ultras. Which sucks because I wanted to play that deck.
I actually really like the smaller quantities - it reminds me of the special editions back then when you wanted some packs but didn't want to buy a whole booster box. Shame about walmart's price tag on these though but solid product!
I think these are cool. My only concern is that people will sell these on the secondary market as “booster boxes” since they look so similar. (Especially with so many people buying the set and not being able to find it on the shelves or in OTS stores.)
Yeah, people have been buying these up and relisting on ebay for $50+ probably banking on people mistaking them for full 24 pack booster boxes. It's pretty gross.
Yea that already happen as mentioned before, people listing as booter box or leaving out these are the 5 pack ones in the description on ebay, cant wait for people to do chargeback to all the seller selling them for 60-80
I cannot believe how insane that last pack was lol. Suddenly made the money back out of nowhere! I'm not a huge fan of the pricing, especially of the single packs, but it is nice to have an option without pre-decided ratios at least
They had these at my wal mart a day before release, got 3 boxes, pulled QSR imperm, thought "SURELY THE PRICES WILL GO DOWN AFTER LAUNCH LIKE EVERY SINGLE OTHER PRODUCT THAT EXISTS" sold imperm for 45$. it's over 70$ now.
Not to be needlessly contrarian but small boxes like this shouldn’t ever be released unless it is the largest box in the set, like with Magnificent Mavens/Maximum Gold boxes. It’s a literal rip-off, particularly when the pricing breaks out even with the blister packs (already overpriced in nearly every instance)
The price per pack and special editions being almost the same isn't too bad. But the size of the SE being so big is a little scummy. People mistook this as booster boxes and jumped to buy it for the price. They could've made it smaller

Well the set is bonkers to be honest. But i would rather get my hands on such a five pack box then a intire boosterbox, since the boosterbox is above my paygrade, and this box is a bit affordable for me. Then again, there are no wallmarts in the netherlands where i live 😅
This is definitely an amazing opportunity for everyone! No matter if you're on a budget, a regular collector, someone new etc. ....Even as a gift, how cool would it be to hit up Wallyworld, snag a box and 3 starter decks, sleeves and a small card binder. ...You basically got someone who really wants to duel/collect in the game for under $100.
The pricing is actually fine by me. I'd rather pay $5 for a pack of Rarity instead of 4.49 for like DUNE. Also as far as "premium products" go these are SO much more affordable than say masters sets for MTG
I think retail big box stores having these "special edition"/"Magnificent Mavens" type packaging with 5 packs per box is nice. Ppl who cannot afford a booster box can pick up a mini box or single packs. And it looks like ppl can get super lucky with single packs, b/c that LAST PACK MAGIC had the best pull of the video. 😄
Love this set, have told everyone that its the closest I've been to feeling that excitement that I use to when I was a kid when opening packs! Awesome way to close it out, not how you start but how you finish, and last I looked Imperm QCR is the 2nd highest valued card currently in the set, sweet last pack magic!
I am still waiting for the 25th anniversary legacy packs.. Newest pack we got our our walmart is Battles of Legends and Maze of memory... We are like 12 releases behind... Sucks living in a huge city. We get everything last it seems.
the "5 pack bundles* absolutely have done better for me than ANY box opening I've seen of this set. I think for the boxes they try to limit QSR pulls to about 2-3 but in RANDOM PACKS there is NO limit and so I have more QSR cards than I can even list here. tl;dr forbidden knowledge, do NOT BUY a booster box of packs, buy these packs INDIVIDUALLY for better luck! happy hunting~ :) This is my favorite set Konami has ever made
Why does the TCG make everything so pointlessly huge... the CCG rarity collection had 10 packs and it was a tiny box. Konami just adding so much unneccessary waste to the landfill. Guess its still better than GFTP2
I’ve bought 2 of these 5 pack boxes from Walmart and i am happy with the pulls that I gotten of of 10 packs. 1 Quarter Century Rare, 5 Collector Rares, and 1 Platinum Secret Rare. Also I think the reason for the extra card board top and bottom of the packs & tough plastic is probably for less chances of people trying to steal packs right out of the box from the store. I notice the same thing with the latest structure deck “Crimson King” has the deck at the bottom with extra card board above it from the top.

$25 a box, so it's just MSRP. If anyone does want to buy these though, DO NOT BUY ONLINE. Online prices are very literally scams, where they're pricing these boxes at double the price. That said, the ratios for pulls are awful with just 5 packs. It's fun to open, but you'd be better off at least saving up and buying the actual booster boxes, which at least nets you far more value (e.g. 2-3 QCRs, multiples of the other high-rarities). Pulling a regular pack (2 super, 2 ultra, 1 secret) feels even worse.
I opened about 6 of these “mini booster boxes” and pulled INSANE. Ash, Droplet, Prosperity, and Imperm QCR’s (just the big hits). Also pulled multiple Baronnes and SR Prosperities. All from the same store just different days. On the down side I haven’t seen a single Triple t or Veiler. Of course luck plays a role but it’s crazy to see how different the boxes can be depending on location

I like the new set but I can't go back down that rabbit hole lol. I'm mainly dealing with pokemon but I still do have Yu-Gi-Oh cards. Don't buy the new pokemon mystery box I haven't seen anyone pull anything older than sun and moon. No vintage packs I opened a few and regretted it deeply.

What a pack 🤙🏻 Also, i think those "special" editions are almost useless, since you can just buy 5 loose boosters 😅 Also, i don't like the unneccessary space they waste with these giant boxes. Just make them like the Pokemon 151 6-Booster box... BUT as a gift or something they may be valid.
I think you're supposed to open the top of the box like you did and then push in the carboard "L" shape things that are holding the packs in. This will let them slide out the top and is just like how Pokemon does it with ETBs. Someone doesn't open much Pokemon hey? :P I have noticed those 2 Booster Bundle Displays in the back of the room though over the past couple of weeks 👀
People in the comments talking about this box as if it's value, when it's *the exact same price as buying five individual packs* (in fact, it might even be a penny *more* depending on the store). At least with the old Special Editions you got the benefit of the Unlimited Edition discount plus an extra promo or two. I honestly wish these things didn't exist, not because of how pointless they are from a value standpoint, but because of the sheer number of people on eBay trying to sell these off as if they're full booster boxes.
I bought two of these and pulled 8 luxury rares out of 10 packs. And got a QCR Forbidden Droplet and a QCR Ghost Belle & Haunted Mansion. I love these lol. Don’t buy them online. They are way over priced there

Hopefully the next edition or variation of a set we get with OCG Collector/Ultimate ACTUALLY LOOK like the OCG version. Ours had virtually no etching/patterning, the collector had no varnish over the top. It's disappointing as hell when you hold the two versions next to each other.
it's cool to be able to grab a handful of packs in one product, but SO MUCH WASTED CARDBOARD! I really like how pokemon has been doing their "booster bundles" lately
Ruxin, I spent 3 extra dollars to order a Booster Box of Rarity Collection through your description link. It's the least I can do to support your channel and the content I enjoy. As far as the collections shown in this video - I think 5 dollars for a single pack is okay if you're just lookin' to have a quick pull for fun. However, if people consider the 5 packs for $20 - just Booster Box!
I think this set is the saving grace for Konami. That said... we absolutely need them to chill with releasing new product so often. Also, I think they should have kept Maxx "c" in this product so as to tame the price on that card, and promote Edison formats. I do, however, find it messed up that Konami didn't mention this product being an exclusive in walmart... now scalpers are buying these up everywhere....
I think these are a bit overpriced. The smaller quantity would be nice if it were priced better. $20 would be reasonable to me. It's sad to see people going and buying these and putting them on secondary market at a 100%+ mark-up. Personally, I will just save and buy full booster boxes even at the retail proce of these.
This set's awesome to open, so I'm glad they're making it available in so many different quantities. I don't think I'd open a second box since my first had almost all I needed but I might pick one of these up. They'd also make really good gifts, imo. A little more interesting than a blister pack but cheaper than a box.
The packs here are a little more, but that's because I'm in Canada, but i also bought a box for $120 at my local card shop, lol. I still want that 25th ash blossom so I'll buy them if i see em.
I think for somebody who doesn’t have a hobby store they can go to that regularly carries Yu-Gi-Oh. They’re a fine product. If you do have a store they can get you boxes or is selling individual packs. I think this is a subpar product.
My Walmart was only selling the 5 pack box. In mine I got a QcSR Change of Heart and a PCR Ash Blossom in the same pack. overall I got the 1 QcSR and 4 PCRs in 5 packs so good haul for me
Set is amazing other day got 8 of those boxes. I got 5 qcr none were any good though which sucked. Best pull probably platinum ash blossom. Also got 3 ultra ash as well which made me happy because I could replace few common ones in decks. I also got platinum evenly matched
Scammers on Ebay are selling these for $50-60 per box and people have been tricked into buying them, not knowing they are not full booster boxes. They really shouldn't have made them look so similar imo.
blisters used to be 3.33 in walmart, it was so worth buying a bunch of packs and trying to profit. Now theyre 4.78 which makes gambling a lot worse on walmart packs. Shame, pulled tons of high rarity stuff from my local walmart before the price spike
5 in a pack for 24.99, and the blister for 4.98. the box seems kind of wasteful, but I would understand why someone would want one as a display piece. The blisters look really cool and seems like a decent price. I think that, overall, not bad products. love this set too
I mean, as far as the quantity, it's close enough to what you'd get for boosters. So if you just want a few packs, I'd say these "Special Editions" are good enough. Otherwise though, you'd probably go for a booster box
I mean you do save like, a dollar when buying these instead of 5 blisters, but I would've preferred if they're more like Duel Overload should we get Rarity Collection Volume 2 (and hopefully we will since this set is hopefully still selling like hotcakes)
In australia, we’ve gotten these small special edition packs, similar to previous main set releases, which has 3 packs in a box, for around 33aud. Ive gotten 3 of them, and managed to pull a CR out of every box
This is actually the first way I got my hands on some Rarity Collection. I bought a handful and pulled 5 QCRs! I think they're more fun to open than just grabbing blisters.
The 5 pack box is something they only got in America I think I know that in Europe they got tripacks which is a 3 pack box but is like 25 dollars for 5 packs in America whereas it’s the same price for just 3 in Europe so disappointing
The packs come out of the collection boxes by folding the flaps (shaped like a square) down so that the squares become just right angles and the packs come right out….Pokemon ETB’s have this same style of packaging and it took me like 6 months to figure out that’s how you take the product out haha
When did Walmart come out with these boxes of rarity collection? I knew the packs of rarity collection came out. 24.99 is a lot in my opinion. I’d rather buy a booster box then a mini box with five packs
This is what I've been buying. Haven't gotten any quarter sentry cards yet 😢 I've bought 5 so far. Also it's not a display box, and your ripping the out of the bottom 😅 you just slide out the protective insert out is the top 😂
I decided to get just one of the walmart ones because mine had them. Got a CR in every pack and a QCR Blue-eyes hips dragon. Not too bad but the QCR was cheeks. (in both ways ;) )
In the UK a lot of places are selling Rarity collection for the equivalent of $7-8 a pack. We have a 3 pack special edition that’s around $25 which is nuts
I would love to have the edition with 5 packs in a box, in EU all I could find was the 3 packs blister for €20. I really like the idea of this single bigger box with more packs
I seen these last week at my local Walmart. I just think $25 is alot for the price when my local card shop I got to has booster boxes for $75. So not really for me unless it was like GFTP set or Mavens where they don't come in boosters

I saw one at my local Walmart and the box was charging like 55 bucks. Crazy rip off. I think they had something messed up on pricing. The one that you found makes more sense. I ended up not getting it 😢
It's very reminiscent of the old Gold series or the Ghosts from the Past sets. Honestly, it's fine to me for someone that wants something as an in-between opening a full box or opening single packs.
I ran into on of these at my Walmart and ended up buying one box without knowing any of the card rates. I ended up pulling a collectors galaxy eyes and a QCR change of heart. So I think these boxes are sick! Just wish there were more packs in the box.
25$ for 5 packs of 5 cards is not a good deal at all. Definitely not worth it. But that’s what retail will get you. But other then bad value it’s still a cool product and seems fun to open

Always enjoy the walmart videos, opened a box myself recently - didn't get anything good except a plat secret veiler. It's an alright product though wish they quaranteed a quarter century in each but thats too much to ask

Always wanted packs like this, in which every card can be any rarity. Funny it took so long! Still prefer gold rarities over many of these haha but still cool. Amazing staples
I got a couple blisters myself, didn't feel like buying an entire box, but just wanted a few packs to enjoy opening, felt like I still got decent value even with the walmart markup.
I saw this at my local Walmart, grabbed 1 hoping to get an Egyptian god slime (its the only card I actually need from this set) and first pack I pulled quarter century rare god slime :D
y'know my town has stores that don't buy yugioh cards to sell anymore cuz they sit there and people like you who wipe out their inventory you think you're helping the local scene by boosting the sales numbers and forcing them to take notice and order more but they will order the same amount and the game is going to die out because players can't get the new cards so they lose motivation to keep rebuilding new decks. leave some meat on the bone for the gamers mr reseller
Definitely have to be careful for anyone buying on eBay people are trying to double their money selling these for 50-60 other than that the set is really good maybe next year or later down the line they will come out with another similar rarity collection set with different cards
Actually don't mind the smaller quantities as it helps scratch that card pulling itch when you walk through a walmart. (also easier to digest when your kid wants to open some packs rather than the $100 for a box at the card shop)
Feel like they're not really Special Editions if they don't feature a promo card. I guess they needed something to call them but just seems unnecessary given the price point and the fact that a display case of 5 would really only give you one more pack than a normal booster box and it's not like a regular set where the ratios would change.
The boxes themselves are actually not as quality as I thought they'd be. The card selection is fantastic and obviously it's a great set but I feel Konami could have done better with the packaging.

I think it's pretty awesome that Walmart would have these, especially since I remember when growing up watching the show, Walmart was the only place I could see yugioh cards. So it just goes to show walmart comes in clutch in any situation lol
I like the five cards with the five different rarities on it and YUGIOH really took the descent by storm the rarity collection is a very great set and I dig it as the number one celebratory set in the series.
