Actually India ( BHARAT ) is way much older than Egypt, according to new excavations. Also Hindu religion's sacred textbooks alone dates back to 5000 BC - 6000 BC. It has recorded roots in Dravidianism which alone predates Mesopotamia, Egypt, etc.

It has actually been around for so long that historians don’t know how old it is. So they date back to the writing and record keeping. Writing and record keeping was developed only 8000 years ago so these civilizations could have lived for way longer.

I can assure you that this isn't accurate. These countries didn't exist in the way they do today. It's like saying Austria was founded 200 B.C. with the Kingdom of Noricum. This list is the first states that existed vaguely on the same area or share a name. If you actually go by states that transitioned to the point the are today and inherited the land throughout time, the oldest would be San Marino (probably). Greece, China, Japan, Egypt, Mongolia and many others are totally different countries with different population or were largely not united in any way during the time listed here.

India is older than 2500 BCE . While the mature Indus valley sites ( like mohenjo daro ) came around at this time period . There were serveral other early Harappan sites that go back all the way to 4500 BCE or even before this time period . Those who are mentioning Ramayan and Mahabharat here , you clearly don't know the fact that the story revolves around the janapada ( later a mahajanapada ) called kuru which existed in the 10th century BCE . Mahabharat and Ramayana both were written in that time period . The version that we nowadays read is much more newer ( written around 500 - 100 BCE )and edited . This version is a product of years of editing and changing by Brahmanas over the years which has completely changed the story to a didactic text instead of a simple story of war . Its just a myth that these events occured back at 5000 BC .
