Gosh. I have been meaning to thank you. I found the first American Brilliant bowl at the Goodwill Bins. The BINS!!! And because of you I knew because it was so sharp. I kept it, I should sell it but ehh. It holds the bouncy balls for our house. ❤️ it’s one of my favorite treasures. Thank you for the videos you do!

I have a booth and I'm also a seller / flipper. You point out the imperfections ( I'm of the mind set...can I fix that? Can I make it useable or pretty enough to be admired by someone?) SAVE OUR LANDFILLS just the difference in shopping experiences I guess. ???

I think they started building those ranch style homes in the mid 50's, not sure, but I remember seeing them all over in the late 50's, early 60's. Wow Danni! That American brilliant glass was stunning! I could see the brilliance through your camera. It must have been exceptionally stunning in person.

The tablecloth you bought, I hand embroidered one very similar to that early 80’s. It was a labor of love, and took me many hours to complete.

That Nikit Kampan painting is worth up to $500. He was a Thai artist. It’s interesting to me how little You Tube sellers know, I’ve noticed it a lot lately. I used to watch them to learn things but discovered I already know just as much. Not a criticism really, just a fact. I know you can’t know everything.

Art is a very personal long tale item. I only buy art I wouldn't mind having on my own wall as that is where it may be for a long time! I knew they were good hence highlighting them in the video.

I am always "watching" and always "liking" because you are just tops! Today, I am sending a comment to say how intriguing the tour of the houses in that Las Vegas neighborhood was! I am from the East Coast with 30 years abroad, now in CA. I have never seen such architecture. You are on to something Dani! The history behind that Las Vegas neighborhood is unique, I am sure. These were great estate sales! I'm so glad you showed the neighborhood too. Very cool mid-century homes. I grew up in a mid-century house in Las Vegas that was built in 1959 (the year I was born) in the Rancho and Alta area. It had (still has) the diagonal roof that slanted down with the windows at the top. It had an oval swimming pool in back with a diving board. I miss my childhood home but I'm thankful I can drive and see it. Thank you for another enjoyable video Danni. I'm so happy you found all the amazing glass! -Karen in Henderson

The silver piece you picked up is a removable handle. Almost identical to something I have. It is probably English and part of a two piece serving dish. With handle fastened on, one bowl on top serves as lid. Apart, two bowls.

That crab server for rich ppl was in the shape of Dungeness Crab 🦀 (Alaska) small sweet & harder to clean crab! We who actually eat them during the harvest just use regular plates!🧐😉

there were some comments about how the 2nd home was out-dated the home was and how it was never updated since the 70s. These comments were not said in an observational tone but rather a judgmental tone. Also, the chuckles about the mirror headboard were truly inappropriate. Show some respect. And pointing out to all the viewers that the owner had let the 3rd home fall into disrepair was fully unnecessary.

Interesting interpretation... why in the world do people focus on ways to be offended by silly stuff? The "way" I said something was a personal judgement as I in no way meant anything other than how interesting it was. I chuckled about a mirrored headboard yes... as I'm sure a large portion of my viewers also did - how in the world was it inappropriate? Good grief!

Wow what a trip down memory lane on that second estate sale. We were Air Force stationed in England for five years and I recognized the brass rubbings to the Bossoms all collected in the 89's overseaseas

They are called Brass Rubbings. Brass rubbing was originally a largely British enthusiasm for reproducing onto paper monumental brasses - commemorative brass plaques found in churches, usually originally on the floor, from between the thirteenth and sixteenth centuries.

Very blustery indeed Danni! I wonder if this was part of the blizzard weather that hit CA, they said the band of winds would hit as far as Vegas! Those first 2 sales were really high prices even after t h e discounts. Speaking of friends and estate sales, is Betsy still doing n g estate sales. She was fun!
