Hello, happy Sunday I know I have said it before, but you are not only my 1st utuber that I watched. You have always been my favorite. You are the best, in my opinion (now I follow so many more). Your format and detailed description are unique for you. I never understand how you are not already in the millions of followers. You deserve it for you are the best, truthful, informative, dependable, and work so much for your channel and subscribers. Keep up the great work, 👍.
Number 16 clear strap shoe reminds me so much of my mom. We used to tease her about her Barbie shoes. She wore high heels until she passed at 90. She was 4'10".🥰
Aw, that is a sweet memory! My mom wore heels ALWAYS, even with her bathrobe lol. She passed from dementia in her 80's but she wore them until she couldn't anymore. ❤
The tinted sunscreen I wear every day is EltaMD UV Physical Broad Spectrum SPF 41 Tinted. I have light skin and it’s the perfect color match for me and blurs the pores but doesn’t feel heavy. Another one I like if I want more coverage is the Australian Gold SPF 50 Botanical Tinted Light Sunscreen. It’s a little heavier/more mattifying so it works best for me in the humid summer when I don’t want more makeup piled on.
I sincerely appreciate the details in the description box. Thank you for mentioning the entire outfit, not just the highlighted item you are mentioning. Definitely want to check out the clear strap heels, a solid neutral. Living Proof is my favorite dry shampoo, I have not tried that version before.
Drmtlgy Universal Tinted Moisterizer SPF46. Definitely one of the best tinted sunscreens available!!! I’m shocked more people haven’t mentioned this sunscreen in your comments yet. I have a sunscreen “wardrobe” and this is the sunscreen I choose when I want to run out the door with no make-up. Perfect for our age range and skin tone. 😊
For sunscreen....Alastin HydraTint is hands down the best tinted sunscreen I have worn. Literally wear this, let it dry down a bit, and put on a little powder (not needed, just how I like to use it), and I am out the door....I get so many compliments on my skin, and this is the product that started those kind words from other people. Lisa J is the one who originally recommended it. Not quite as pricey as the Revision, but I usually get it on sale with a discount code on several sites.
Revisionist was the first tinted sunscreen I started using about 12 years ago. It was $39. I use tinted sunscreen everyday, so I go thru a lot! I now use the Neutrogena Purescreen Mineral UV tint. It comes in 3 shades, is water resistant and around $16. It blends great, just enough coverage and never leaves me dry or patchy.
Dermatology Universal Tint SPF 45 definitely!!! Very comparable to the Revision version at a fraction of the price. You can usually find a code for a 20% discount. I have used for 5 years and love. I keep the little tester revision ones that my derm gives me in my car for touch ups.
I wear the tinted sunscreen from Alastin. Add a little concealer and most days it’s what I wear as foundation. Lisa J recommended it a few years ago so I tried it. It’s been my go to foundation ever since. I do powder it, but it holds up well here in the south TX heat and humidity.
I agree with your Australian Gold rec. - decent coverage and improved shade range. If you have dry skin, good moisturizing beforehand is a must, especially under the eyes! The mineral formula guarantees no stinging eyes if you’re sweating (running, gardening, biking, etc.)
I tried a sample size of the EltaMD UV Physical Broad Spectrum SPF 41 Tinted. It's a great substitute for foundation on those days that you have a few errands to do. 😊
So many good things. I like the dresses a lot. I work from home and I love to wear dresses in the summer. I don’t wear sleeveless, so I appreciate that two of them were short sleeved. Thank you!
I love Ilia Skin Serum Skin Tint. SPF 40. It feels like skincare and looks lovely on the skin. I wear it in place of foundation and my skin is so happy.
Very impressed with this informative video. You clearly did your homework on all the items! I really appreciate your descriptions, tips, etc. Subscribed!
Thank you, nice haul! For the air pods, I would put them sealed in a bag in the freezer for a few days and see if they dry inside. This trick worked in our house for a laptop which keyboard had a large juice spill... Miraculously the freezer dried out the inside of the keyboard and the laptop was useable again.
The one thing I like about Amazon is they do have the items in stock. Also thank you for posting now that items are out of stock when you film. I appreciate this. Rubyb
I love the tee in #3 - soooo cute. And the blouse in 4. That #7 blouse is amazing as well. Adore the Red dress. I can’t thank you enough for the Paula’s Balm rec. it’s healed things I didn’t know I needed to heal. 😂Cuticles, and the skin around my mouth - chefs kiss
I bought the red maxi dress and love it. I’m only 5 ft tall and petite so was scared. It would be way too long for me. However, with 2 to 3 inch heels it works perfect. It hits me at the ankle and looks really cute. I did add a white cammy underneath and unbuttoned the top so there would be white up top to match the white trim, I also changed the belt. I’m going to wear it to the University of Alabama spring parents weekend for our sons who are at school there. Love your videos!
OMG Marnie! I recognized that shirt as soon as I turned on the video! I have had it it sitting in my cart for the past week, wondering if i should buy it! Now that I see it on you, I’m definitely going to get it!!!
Marnie I love ❤ that shirt you are wearing in the video. I have been looking at it on Amazon for weeks and it looks great on you. Yep, I'm going to have to buy it now. Everything was great!!
I love the Cerave tinted sunscreen. Some may find it too greasy, but it absorbs into the skin and gives a very light coverage. And thank you, great recommendations!
Good morning, just wanted to let you know that I enjoy your videos so much. Your style is so workable in my world, love all your picks and recommendations. Truly appreciate you and enjoy spending my coffee time with you. Hope you and the family are doing great! ((the sunscreen I've been using for a while is the Color Science Flex- it's my everyday go-to.))
I use PCA Skin Sheer Tint Broad Spectrum SPF 45, and I love it! It is subtle, but the color is so perfect, and many days I don't feel like I have to use foundation to get a good look!
I’m a total makeup junkie and I’m always looking for tinted moisturizers with SPF. One of my favorite ones that I’d love to recommend is a tinted bronzer from Pacifica. It also smells like Summer. Great product. Given it to two friends and they’re hooked.
I worked at a clothing company and did photoshoots and YES, the steamer is amazing. If you're a person that does a lot of steaming, save yourself grief and get it! I would love to hear more about tinted sunscreen. Right now during the winter months I discovered Chanel Les Beiges water fresh complexion and have fallen in love but there is not SPF for summer in it. (I live in Western Washington.....it's dark and cloudy for about 6+ months a year. My freckly skin thanks me. HA!) Especially for travel I would love a light one step option like you mentioned...ad some mascara, lip gloss, done!
I love NARS for my tinted sunscreen. I can use it as a light foundation. I’m 60 yo and it doesn’t settle in my wrinkles. My 38 yo daughter also loves it and she’s an esthetician.
great vid! love the shorts set...my fave tinted sunscreen is Heliocare 360, second is R&R. Angie from Hot & Flashy has a comprehensive review of sunscreens on her sight. i am paler than her but what works for her might work for you.
For tinted sunscreen I am currently using up what I have. I have a couple of non-tinted ones that gave a whitecast, along with dregs of darker foundations I used in past summers. Mix them together and you have tinted sunscreen. I really want to decrease the volume of stuff before I buy more!
Alastin HydraTint Pro Mineral Broad Spectrum Sunscreen SPF 36 is my favorite so far. I use these much more then foundation so I have quite a few different brands. It’s a bit pricey at $76 a tube but I just love the feel of it and it’s lightweight for my very oily skin. Would love a video on different tinted sunscreens! 🌞
First let me say I love your videos. Next I’m HARD to fit. I’m 5’1 but size 10 with wide feet. Thank you for what you show. I’m encouraged to branch out and try new styles even if the first few don’t work. I wanted to say that because the rest of my comments seem like a bust. They are not. Typical for me. I’ll keep on trying! I tried #3. Sleeves too puffy for me. I tried # 10. Top too cropped for me. It hit my waist but I kept feeling like I needed to pull it down. I tried the loafers. Too long. I tried ordering smaller in a wide width but the order, after being delayed, simply disappeared. I think wide was not really an option. Waiting on the short sleeve gold button sweater. High hopes there. Again, I’m a fan 😃
I wear the Australian Gold Botanical 50 tinted sunscreen for medium to tan skin tones. I like it because it is a perfect match for my skin tone. I am usually in between the usual choices and not quite a medium but this one is perfect. I wear it all the time. It is a little sticky feeling. I know it stays on well because it is hard to wash off your hands after applying.
Great video !! I work from so looking forward to outfits 9 and 10. And OMG, the driving loafers arrived in gold and I adore them. A nice bold metallic . Im gonna get them in a fun color for the summer too! I am a wide foot typically size 8 so I got an 8. At first, i thought they were going to be too snug, but after wearing the for a couple days while working from home, they have molded beautifully to my feet! HOORAY! 😍 And my rec that I enjoy using for the tinted SPF is Solar Defense Tinted SPF 30 by Hydropeptide. I dont wear much make-up, but I like this cuz I have lash extensions. I can throw on this plus some gloss and look put together. This product comes in a travel size too which is awesome on vacation. Happy Sunday!
For tinted sunscreens, I have tried a few! I’m interested to know what you end up liking! my favorites so far have been Australian gold botanical 50 tinted face and tinted Elta MD UV elements broad spectrum SPF 44.
La Roche Posay Anthelios Tinted Mineral light fluid sunscreen (SPF 50) is one of my all-time favorite tinted sunscreens. Skin- evening, thin, no white cast and not overly shiny/greasy-looking.
Hello, Marnie! Here's a suggestion for a tinted sunscreen that can serve also as a CC cream: Paula's Choice Super-Light Daily Wrinkle Defense SPF 30. When I wear this, I don't use foundation because I feel it gives me coverage and color-correction. This is a lightweight, lotion-y tinted sunscreen that feels great on the skin. It dries to a satin finish. Under fluorescent light, it has a slight white cast; but otherwise, it has no white cast. If, after several hours, I become shiney in my T-zone, then I dust a little Honest Beauty Invisible Blurring Loose Powder on me to mattify. For me, that powder sits really well on this sunscreen, mattifying without flakes or patchiness or looking too powdery or dry. I'm definitely going to try Revision Tinted Sunscreen, thanks for the suggestion.
Hi beauty! I just love your videos!!!❤ we have a senior graduating from high school this year and a couple of dresses that you are would be perfect for some of the graduation events! Also, I have a recommendation for the most amazing bb tint. I’m an esthetician and Lira BBTint is incredible!🥳🤩💝
Thank you for recommending the lip balm. I’ve had some gnarly virus for the past three weeks (not Covid or RSV) and it sucked the moisture out of my skin, in particularly my lips. My lip balms, even Chapstick, has not helped. I will give the Paula’s Choice a try. 😊
Great recs! I do not wear makeup everyday my go to tinted sunscreens are r&r and first aid beauty. I dust a little bit of the Jane iredale powder over and I am covered for the day. I would love for you to try the Jane iredale products, I am a huge fan after Lisa j recommended. Take care!
I use the Advanced Clean Dry Shampoo as a preventative step. I spray my roots right after washing and before blow drying. Then I touch it up a little each day. Typically, I wash my hair every other day. However, using a little of this dry shampoo each day, I find that I can get 4, sometimes even 5 days of wear before I have to wash again. (I have just tried using this dry shampoo just when my hair is dirty and it does nit work as well for me.)
Alastin Hydratint is amazing! Ask Lisa J she knows!! Been using it for years, however I generally use a non tinted SPF underneath, because the Alastin is only SPF 36
Drmtlgy brand Univeral Tinted SPF, is my ride or die. It’s got a great consistency, moisturizing, and just evens out my face. Th finish is gorgeous, due to a little glow. $84 for SPF is too rich for my blood.
Marnie I quickly perused some of the comments fully expecting to see Undefined R & R sun serum! (3 shades now) but no one recommended it and I’m really surprised. Started using as a recommendation from Angie @ hot and flashy. I’m an absolute convert I reach for it all of the time. It is not for someone with the oily skin. as I’ve gotten older my skin has gotten quite dry and this is perfection. Also recommended by other dermatologist.
Tinted sunscreens- Australian Gold Fair- is cheaper but 4% zinc and 4% titanium dioxide MY FAVORITE-Colorescience Flex and Classic 12% Zinc(my dermatologist said use at least 7%. I don't like the Babo because it burned my eyes as I sweat. All are50 SPF
I ordered #3 after I saw it on your wal mart video but for me, it was too formal fitting across my middle…it’s super cute though and I love the fabric.
I agree that Paula’s choice balm is the best - mine is almost empty beats them all - I think it’s the lanolin. I also use nipple cream from Amazon on lips for on the go it’s in a squeeze tube- lanolin is magic
I also lived in thongs and never thought them uncomfortable. I wondered if something was wrong with me now because for me they are a no go. Love your choices here!❤️🇨🇦❤️
