Voice overs are fine with me. I much prefer them to loud music, screaming children, and even background talking if there's a lot of it. Do as much of it as you like!
Dani, this is your channel do whatever you need to do to protect yourself from any hits from the RU-vid kings. I don’t mind either way voice over or directly hearing your voice at the store. Just keep doing what you do and have fun
Wow! You did great today! So many great finds!! Only one thing I need to say. I have a degree in geology. That stone, to me, with the mini pottery looks like sandstone, not rhyolite. Of course I could be wrong seeing how I am not holding it but viewing a video. But just thought I would mention that. Iscored pretty well today. Stopped at the St. Vincent de Paul Thrift in their last half hour. I looked around and didn't see much. But then, on my way to check out with the few items I had, I spotted it. A large plastic Xmas bin with not just a Fontanini Nativity set of Mary, Joseph, and Jesus, but around 40 years worth of angels, Shepherds, towns people, animals, palm trees, a pond, plus more. All in pristine condition. I was overjoyed as I have always wanted just a Fontanini Nativity set, but this was almost overwhelming. There was a price of $75 on the entire set. Also, a separate grouping of angels added another $21. But it was Senior day, of which I am, which took off 50% on everything! I got it all and a few other items for $45. I was ecstatic. Later, my hubby and I had fun looking at all that was in the set and checked on some prices. We figured the value on the set was probably in the neighborhood of about $600. Some of the pieces dated back to 1983 with the latest 1997. Just a beautiful find and one I plan to keep. It was the best Christmas gift I could have ever gotten.
I don't mind the voice overs at all, especially when the store is busy and loud. I find your channel very relaxing to watch. The only thing I don't like is the repetitive music over the voice over, its a bit annoying for me but that's just me. But i still love watching.
You're fun & fantastic to shop with Danni! I don't know how you get the energy to do so much. Wished I had that energy. Tyfs Danni great finds yet again you never fail when you take us shopping. I look forward to watching you everyday! Thank You for also teaching us all😁👍🙋♀️💜
Dani you do what you need to do to protect your channel, either way is good it’s the items you find that I’m watching and the explanations about each item. Watching you is fun something I look forward to with each posting
I like the things you found in this haul. My big find this past weekend was an Italian Fontanini Last Supper figurine/sculpture. I paid $9 for it priced it online from $360 at the Papal Shop at the Vatican and another place wants $440 for the same 1. I'm hoping to get $250 for it. Never seen 1 before and likely never will. A 1 in a lifetime find.
@@dittohead7044 Thanks. I live in a small town so I might have to sell for less. Or I could put it into our local auction house and the items there get decent prices as they will ship out. I ship littler items or items that won't break.
The little white plantpot plaque would look nice in a bathroom with makeup brushes or sticks with rings on, or neck scarves poked-in and hanging out... eyeliner crayons, paint brushes in an art studio etc etc
I like how you're doing the Toys for tots past couple years I've been buying a couple hundred dollars worth of toys and donate them to the our pantry for the children
I loved the pink plastic pitcher and tumblers. My mom has a pool and lots of grandchildren around - plus one clumsy daughter (guess who) 🤗 Nice plastic does have its uses. 🙂
The little Wooden Book was popular in the early 40s. They also made them for photos. The old black and whites. Mine are filled with pictures of WW2-era Military and USO pics. They are really cool!
Love the snowman solar lights, you found. The chef puppet is similar to The Muppets Swedish chef, but he wears a blue shirt and his hair and stash are brown. P.S. FTD is still around. :}
The voiceovers are fine. especially if there is screaming kids or crazy noises. the camel is ADORABLE! , you got some great stuff today on a wet and cold day! and love the chubby bird!
I prefer the voice over. Those Goodwill commercials and loud music are hard to listen to. You do whatever is the best for you though, I will still watch!
You poor thing. Two days of shipping because you’re successful and blessed with two friends that care for you enough to help!!!! Love watching you shop and what you pick up, especially just because. I liked the figurines on the shelves by the birds you picked up (that was awesome too). There were 2 little girls on a rocking chair and maybe one doing washing. I don’t even know why I’m drawn to them. Same with the Willow Tree figurines. I be gotten several that match things that have happened to me. First one I received was the mother and father looking at their baby. I’m just a little nerdy is all Great you’re going home to a nice meal. Nothing smells so good as a home cooked meal. I love crockpots and wish I had several more. Maybe I’ll get lucky and find them here at my store. Love love love the snowmen!!! So cute Congrats on such a good score tonight!!!!
That first sentence sounded a little snarky. Yes I am blessed to have friends but that does not lessen the exhaustion from some very intense shipping days. Tiffany was only here a few hours day 1 and Kari works for me so yes it's her job to do the shipping. Yes it smelled great when I got home!
😂😂😂😂😂Your Swedish is soooooo cute!!! Those metal Uppermost trays were incredible. The TY camel has been a temptation for me since they came out...I have resisted buying one but it has been hard! Well done on resisting the giraffe prints. It is very difficult when a picture makes you feel great. I bought an old print of an oil painting of Sydney. Includes the Harbour Bridge, Oriana cruise ship in port, the Opera House, the harbour and ferries. Sydney has my heart as does this painting of it. It cost $25 but that is a typical price for our thrift stores. Voice over or 'real time' is all good to me. I love your videos, and Noah's editing 🤗
I like the clear swung vase. Those China flower and birds plates were beautiful. I understand leaving them but I would have kept them for myself to give bake goods away on. 😃
Danni you work so hard filming and editing these wonderful videos for us, please do not apologize for doing what you need to so we can get "shop done" thank you xx
I don't mind the voice over. I have snowmen similar to the ones you found but mine plug in , very nice during the day but just look like a lighted ball at night . 🎅🇨🇦
Danni I kept moving south as I got older. The winter just kills me and this year Virginia is as bad as when i lived in Connecticut. You make me think I should move out to Las Vegas both for the weather and the incredible thrifts out there
I just commented on another RU-vid video where they found a clear swung vase. Michael from The Cult Of Vintage said not to long ago that clear swing vases can be worth some decent money 😉
I so love shopping with you 💕. I'm not a reseller due to health restrictions but I learn so much from you . Enjoy your pot roast. I love my crock pot 😋
So you think cold and rain is normal for us Canadians? 💨💦😁 You should visit us here! We have 4 seasons, I'm sure you are aware. And we have plenty of "V. Viiillllaaaggg" (with no "e") as we call them, (much classier 😁) as well as Goodwill, St. Vincent, Sally Ann (Salvation Army) and many more independent charity shops. I'm sure you would enjoy. As far as the weather goes we have a ball in the winter making snow men, snowball fights, 🥶building igloo's 😂 (we don't really live in them though) great times in the summer up in cottage country, Springtime planting our vegetable gardens and flowers 🌼🌻🌺and lots of rain in April so they'll grow beautifully. In the fall we go for Sunday drives and admiring the amazing colors of all the trees and raking the leaves into huge piles and jumping into them (or throwing the kids into them LOL) Always a good time no matter what the season! Happy thrifting!! Love your show!! I prefer to watch The NICHE Lady as well as The Flying Pig you both always make me laugh. Wishing you and your shopping buddies all the best from Cambridge, Ontario, Canada!!! i Don't know if you will read this or not because I just checked to see when this episode was and it's way back in December 2021. lol. Today is March 14th, 2022. Hope you had a nice Chrismas! 😂🤣😂🤣 Take care and stay safe. ✌
I do have say I enjoyed did enjoy that large Christmas shopping video I learned so much excited to see all your Christmas decorations. I don't want to be too nosey I would love a outside and inside tour of all your holiday decorations you have such great taste
Hi Danni! I love your channel! I live abroad, no Goodwills! But I am American so I certainly miss them! The ones I was familiar with had mostly clothing with only a few shelves of household goods. So fun to go shopping with you! Love the tally at the end!
Put little sprigs of dried flowers or greenery in the white pots. I would love that look. 😃 Did you see the pottery fish dish that was beside the tiny white pots? It looked cool through the camera lol
Those colored glass balls in the netting are floating balls that fishermen use on their nets. I have a huge green one. I was told when I lived in Hawaii, they break loose from the Japanese fishing boats. We use to find smaller ones washed up on the shore.
I liked the voice-over to. All your videos are great I have learnt so much. At my store I work at put a picture from Pier One out on the shelves and a carrot dish from Pier One and I couldn't buy them. I was so sad. We can't buy at our store unless they give us a weekend that we can. I guess that's a good thing because I'd probably be broke LOL
I'm a wimp also dislike rain & cold. Unfortunately due to health reasons I've returned to Oregon (rainy, cold) from Phoenix, AZ area to be near family in Oregon.
