I’ve always preferred the meta to revolve around utility instead of dmg. Dmg metas get stale very quick.

I'm sure dps armor skills will be the meta since the hunt is timed based, we just don't have access to it yet.

Paralysis is useless in Now lol. Para gets cancelled out immediately if you break a monster part

Decorations are probably gonna ruin this meta (by giving access to extreme damage) or enhance it phenomenally (it’ll stay the same but people will be able to combine stuff like divine and attack boost).

The biggest problem is being forced to walk around to play. Its nice sometimes but shouldn't be forced.. for instance when it's storming outside. I'd rather not get soaked and potentially ruin my phone. Perfect day to sit and play. But literally can't. Really stupid. And no I don't want to waste gas driving and stopping just to play lol.

@c4veman it is objectively a problem. Lol. Its not my preference it has to do with ability to interact at convenient times. AND. Accessibility. There are millions of people who have things you might not be aware of called responsibilities. Which means they can't be walking around all day just to play a mobile game. Alongside there are hundreds of thousands of people who either literally can't. Wheelchair, or some motor function disability. Or people that live in bad neighborhoods. If you have any braincells. You should get the point by now. Having the OPTION to walk around and interact like that is fantastic. But forcing it is just destroying their potential playerbase, which is therefore destroying their potential income. Therefore being objectively bad for the company. Unfortunately, Niantic sells its users GPS data for profit. So thats the only reason they force it. There is a reason there are so many guides for pokemon go on gps spoofing. Its almost like most people who play video games, like to do so from the comfort of their own home? Weird I know. Anywho you can fuck off with your bullshit lol.

If you upgrade the armors he's suggesting you'll regret it alot in a few days. You need DAMAGE perks not health...

@@noob-kun7768 I'm glad you care enough to try to contest this, but Rathalos Helm/Rathian Gloves beat Kulu Helm/Kulu Gloves in effective raw until you're halfway through Grade 8, and for SnS Kulu/Kulu will almost never win as Burst is actually quite good for SnS. For all the other melee weapons, you can make the switch from Rathalos/Rathian to Kulu/Kulu once you reach around G9. You should be playing element by that time though.

The game is locked at 30 fps by default, he probably unlock it to 60 fps in game settings ;)

My guess for life reg is 1% of HP per minute ; therefore if you have 150hp you Regen 1.5 HP instead of just 1HP (without health skills)

@@TheMrBvcx With Critical Eye +2 and Weakness Exploit +2 that is 45% of Affinity per hit. When in battle maybe equipt with Kulu boots and when resting put on Rathian boots for health regen? What do yout think @TeamDarkside

The idea behind the +2 hp boost is that you keep a higher percentage of hp when getting hit. All of the armors have the same defense rating, so losing 20 hp is always 20 hp, but with the extra 20 hp from health boost lvl 2, is only 16% of your health instead of 20%. This may potentially come in handy when you try to fight a monster a low rating monster that you can do flawless for some quick zenny, but lack the required to have 30% of you max hp to engage the monster.

​@@TheMrBvcx The HP is percent based, I'm not actually sure what the percent and how much time it takes, but I know it's consistent, having more hp doesn't increase or decrease the regen time.

how do u play with it, tried it but seems slow and less constant damage like SNS... which I am playing, tips?

​@somehowrockingfloor3395 you can shoulder bash, which I believe gives you I frames. Also try to dodge as soon as attacks come out and start charging then. Do not charge when they haven't just attacked cus you are liable to get owned

Probably doable with Greatsword. just spec into attack power and focus. maybe 5 attack power and 3-4 focus. not sure if it's possible to get 5 in both Edit: I was going through the skill and it's currently not possible to go Attack Power 5. The highest anyone can currently go is 4, but that involves the player having leather mail. Ideal Greatsword skills would probably be: Attack Power 3 Special Boost 3/Focus 2 Focus 3/Special Boost 2 Last Stand 2 OR Attack Power 3 Special Boost 2 Focus 2 Last Stand 1 Divine Blessing 4

why focus or last stand for oneshot? My bet is 2 Peak performance, 3 attack boost, 2 special boost, 1 part breaker, 1 Rising Tide Anja weapon vs Jagras

@@ZioNcz Oh i didnt mention i veered away from the 1 shot. I don't think that a normal charged attack can 1 shot, but maybe a special can. My 1 shot idea turned into a kill ASAP w/ emergency defence Also I didnt notice peak performance on anja, so yeah yours is probably the closest to a 1 shot

Not sure indeed; most monsters would be far more difficult / longer to kill at the end of the game (because they have so much stars) I think I'll probably stay at 5 stars a while to gather materials more easily

It is. Unfortunately MHN doesn’t give specific parts for breaking/cutting them. All it does is give you an extra random item. I’ve been chasing Rarity 5 items for 2 weeks and only have 3 of the 10 I need lol

Rising Tide is you deal more dmg the lower your hp is right? Or is it the longer the hunt? Either way the Jagras mail isn't good early game, you really need to save your potions, which means prioritizing not getting hit, and early game monsters shouldn't take so long to kill that you need a perk to help out. The Leather mail is the better choice imo

I like the tobi arms over the paolumu hands to get the evade extend and better perfect dodge, lets me reach the tail easier and get out of the way of annoying attacks more. Think its better to not get hit at all!

This a time fight... blessing is defense majority of time you wouldn't kill the boss in time

its ok once you beat Legina and Diablo you can craft rarity 4/5 weapons for a very cheap price

If you get hit often you shouldn't go LS. Its damage depends on charging the gauge, and getting hit lowers it a lot. SnS is more forgiving for sure.

Yea, he specifically mentions that he went with some defensive skills, instead of full offense, since potions cost real money to buy (outside of the daily 5). So, to maximize the amount of hunts you can pull off, the defensive skills are useful. Also, unlike main line MH games, the time limit is REALLY strict later in the chapters, so the time you lose going through the animations of getting knocked out and healing really eats up your chances of beating the monster before the 75s are up. Divine Blessing allowing you to take a hit or two more keeps that DPS up with the precious time constraint. And Health Boost also helps with health recovery speeds outside of combat so you can get back into the fights faster. Like some others here mentioned, it's nice seeing a mixup in the normal meta for MH with this format change.

Time is money, and potions is more money

​@martialfarts31692 I mean at some point you should get good enough to never get hit anyway so divine blessing becomes pointless. When playing solo I very rarely get hit and use full damage elemental and stuff just melts, it just comes down to knowing the animations

​@@cmsmiley1155i usually play with only 10% concentration. Since i keep walking while fighting lol. So this defensive build is better for me. maybe i will make offensive build later on for more difficult boss but well thats only for a later time
