Thanks for visiting our island. I am from that island, the island called pulau peling, the original tribes is Banggai Tribes. Btw, i am from the other Village. Actually not many foreign tourist that came to our island, idk why maybe the cost too high then other destination in Sulawesi. But believe me its worth to visit. Do u know that Bajo tribe is an inspiration for Avatar movie? U can find the director interviewed mentioned it.. They can hold breathe under water longer than normal person.. they hunt the fish using traditional equipment. Im Indonesian but i never goes there yet 😂 Thank for sharing with us.
I knowww😖 The whole purpose of the trip was to film them underwater but we didn’t find someone that is still fishing like this because of traditions that die sadly. In my next vlog you can see how we visit 3 more villages but without success to find ‘the avatars’ sadly. Although I don’t give up and I still believe I can find them somewhere ✨💪🏼

@@thiramoelantsif you want to find the bajo people who are still hunting fish like that, try the Wakatobi National Marine Park, especially at Kaledupa Island. they've even showed up in one of the Wonderful Indonesia promotional videos.

Wowww....it's really amazing and beautiful place in Central Sulawesi Island that i never been there, even thought i was born in North Sulawesi Island but i never ever visit other Island in Indonesia. not only that in my hometown land in minahasa land located in north Sulawesi there are many places that i never know and never visit it in my whole life. in the future you should brings along some of your food and some snacks while travelling around the island that untouched by tourists local and foreign tourists. because in dome place there are far away from city or town to visit a hidden place in Indonesia and you are need more time to spend your day on the road , so it's good for you to prepare something that you needed just like you prepared for picnic so you can spend your day in a place that you wanted to go especially in the beach, hill, lake or mountains and many more things. maybe brings tent etc and enjoy every moment in your life wherever you go traveling around Indonesia. don't forget to keep smiling to local people or just say halo selamat pagi means good morning or Selamat siang means good afternoon or Selamat sore means good evening etc.❤🇮🇩🇭🇰😊
