Made it to loop 42 on Xbox. Chatter, breathe free, adaptive instincts. M60(+max stacks shoots faster than famas) with M870(just in case). Strained, obliterate, surgical, critical, precise, concussion. LEADERSHIP(for bonus armor), preservation, clutch, adrenaline rush, entrench, insulated. Trauma, eyeless, lucky shot, vindictive, capacitive, steady handed. Picked blue cores more often than reds because after a certain point every enemy is elite(and they all hurt). Reviver hive and defender drone, 6 skill tiers. M60+chatter+steady handed+lucky shot(at least 4 or 5 ranks in each)= never reloading therefore I can shoot forever(this solves the ammo problem). Is it worth it you ask? Absolutely NOT lol and I like Descent. I only tried to get that far in Descent because a previous version of my M60 build only made it to 39 before I died to the Black Tusk… those damn drones. Descent can be great but it NEEDS more rewards. So much time invested in it just for me to be like, wait that’s it??? At first after a few good runs I stopped playing it for rewards and just wanted to see how far I can really go. Loop 42 on Xbox and all I got were a few exotic caches, reconstructed caches and a Tier 1 patch!! WOW SO REWARDING RIGHT!! 😐Devs need to make big changes to Descent or it’s gonna be dead soon(it probably already is).
I always run bullet hell, breathe free, and plague. For reds i got for all weapon damage. I never pick vigilance gunslinger, intimidate, overwatch, composure, spark. The yellow i get weapon handling braced, steady hand. When everything comes together im basically 1 shotting everthing
For that amount of time, I rather take the 50% chance of getting a reconstructed cache from the nemesis by doing easy/medium rooms (5 loops). Got Matador a few days ago, now I can stop farming it in the DZ
Problem with that now is they don't always drop a Reconstructed Cache everytime we beat The Nemesis like before. I feel like the devs screwed up descent with some shadow alterations. Went up to loop 21 one time and only got just ONE of those caches.
After release we have done 56 loops in 12 hours. Since than we use to run only to 30 to get few plans, 8 hours... Only to collect blueprints... No other reason
Fun to watch and see what you can achieve, but I have to say as a returning player shd lvl 363, I've only got through 3 loops... clearly I'm missing something but I don't know what.
it's kind of learn the basics again sort of thing. Solo is your friend because the more people = more nemesis. Learn the auto picks of perks Preservation and Adrenaline Rush are my always go tos. Then I purely pick blue up until loop 8 or something
My friends and I are having a blast with decent. There's nothing in the game i need. So loot isn't important. This mode is a great challenge. Still get handled by the nemesis and when we beat him it feels rewarding.
KVD was wondering if you could test out Ridgeways + Foundry Bulwark + maybe a creeping death backpack with sadist? All red or blue. I just want to see what it looks like in the PTS with the updates to Foundry
it's essentially a rogule like version of division 2, you start at level 1 and try and upgrade your character there is a big bad boss at 100% loop gain called a nemesis, once you beat them you can either quit or continue (you will not see the nemesis after this point) to see how high you can basically go
Who is playing this idiotic mode?! I can't believe this rubbish at all. This trash is just as unnecessary as Kenley Collage. Whenever something new comes along, there are always crazy modes that a small part of the players think are great, for whatever reason. But for new missions, or at least to make the existing missions all playable on Legändär, the hollow bulbs are not able to do that, let alone finally fix all the bugs from the game, which are still a huge issue on the PC. Just incompetent crap as always. After almost 4000 hours of playing time, this is really starting to get on my nerves. and as you can see again with the pts, the devs really don't give a shit about the majority of the players' opinions! Of course, as always, everything I write only reflects my personal opinion. With that in mind, thank you for your effort and your content!
