I'm a diehard believer in the Hybrid hitbox and mained the Venom, then the Silvia (after trying almost all of them, lol). I've committed this entire year to playing Octane to see if it's placebo or just not worthwhile. Funny that you like the longer turn radius; i find that shorter turning is one of the Octane's strongest advantages, other than its height's effects on ground control. @@Pslamist i used to like the hybrid a lot as well, but determined that you can view it as either a slightly worse version of the octane or a slightly worse version of the dominus. you might as well just full commit to either one of them instead of the hybrid. thats why the Ace excites me so much as a car, because it feels quite similar to the role that the hybrid fulfills, but can stand up a little better against the comparisons to both the octane and the dominus imo. also, to clarify, the octane actually has a relatively bad turning speed. its just that its large width and short nose relative to its center of rotation makes it less noticeable and provide a more nuanced advantage in turning than just the simple description of "turning speed". the breakout and the dominus are almost identical in being the best, followed by the hybrid somewhat close behind, and then the rest are quite bad in comparison. because of this, the normal breakout being so long and skinny makes it feel a bit awkward sometimes, which is another reason why the Ace is an improved version of it by pushing it backward a bit to be more in line with the dominus's nose position i believe? it also makes it so that its nose is more in line with the octane's position relative to its total length. this is a big reason why it feels so similar to control to the octane and even affects the way it rotates through its flips and where any point of the car can reach, changing its capabilities and "fixing" the breakout hitbox to me for my preferences for controllability. anyways, the dominus being practically tied fastest + its width being almost as good as the octane makes it feel the most maneuverable in its reach. the breakout's length and the plank's width create some specific advantages over it still, but the dominus is king overall. it also seems to do so while being surprisingly demo avoidant compared to them even though its still slightly worse than octane and hybrid. it just seems to fit the perfect dimensions for all situations. i wish i were better at it, but i find that certain types of control and movement are too clunky for my liking and limit my possibilities. just like i believe that the octane is capable of everything, but its playing in hard mode sometimes, maybe the dominus is also capable of everything, but its sometimes easy mode and sometimes its nightmare mode lmao.

@Stravos96 - Totally agree with you on all fronts, lol. The Dominus feels awful for ground plays to me, so I stay away from it, regardless of the benefits. Maybe next year I give the Ace a proper go!

Im not sure what the exact measurements of the f1 are but I know the breakout has more length and reach compared to plank/batmobile

If you care what the differences are. Plank has 128 UU length breakout has 131, plank has 73 reach breakout has 78. The hybrid also has 77 reach but has 127 length

Yeah, for me even though the Octane and Fennec have the same hitbox, they feel completely different. I only use the Octane whenever I feel mechanical😂

@@Pslamist nah Nissan isnt good. Venom or Inisdio r the only good matching hybrid hitbox cars; I personally like venom a lot more

I used to main batmobile, its got a couple issues with 1s, for instance a lot of "drive challenges" and ball can bounce straight over you, also recoveries are more likely to mess you up when you get bumped or after 50s, but one benefit I guess is people have to do more to bump you because car can "tough out" more small bumps

@elidossett658 - Sunglasses/Pixel Shades, Halo, OGBP, Sharkfin, and way more. There's plenty of options that don't obstruct your vision. Personally I find them helpful to show which way my car is pointing without looking away from the ball.
