Really seems like something that could be powered by wave power -- though perhaps not in a marina lol

Love this seabin! Such a great idea. My 5yo liked how it goes so far down into the sea (and that it collects as much rubbish as a whale!). We try and reduce plastic by using plastic-free and refillable subscriptions for our laundry & washing items. We also collect any plastic wrappers that can't be recycled at home and take them to the supermarket to be processed. We are also really, really lucky to have a zero waste shop in our town where we can refill all of our dried goods straight into our containers.

Hello Maddie. My name is Alex Nice. You are a fantastic presenter and I find your videos very fascinating. Your children's show "Maddies do you know" is terrific, as you always bring enthusiasm when you explain certain subjects which is great, as it teaches children how stuff works in exciting fashion. The way you present the show really reminded me of the presenters who present children's factual shows like yours that I watched as a kid, so that really made me feel nostalgic. Your sea bin video is very fascinating too, so thank you. I like how it is keeping rubbish out of the ocean making it a cleaner environment. Carry on enternaing us with your great work with your videos as they are enjoyable to watch. 😁

Where plastic is a requirement such as to help reduce food waste we use tubs and switched out cling-film for good quality zip lock bags that can be washed and reused and can be recycled after many uses. Love your videos... always leaves me feeling a bit more upbeat 😊

We need to train Turtles to come to the bins and take the seaweed back, thus reserving sea bin capacity for plastic waste. Great innovation!

I got a sturdy metal water bottle to use with my lunch kit so I don’t buy plastic disposable water bottles anymore. It’s very startling to realize how much plastic waste comes from my household when we started paying attention to it.

Buying a metal water bottle is one of the best decisions I've ever made. I've had a Klean Kanteen stainless water bottle and coffee cup for 16 years.

The problem is change cost money , and these companies wont "loose" money for the sake of the world , its sad but greed plays alot in pollution.

Isn't there a chance fish and other sea creatures get caught in the seabin?
@falmouthharbour9689
@falmouthharbour9689 Год назад
Hi, yes there is. We monitor this as closely as we can and return any trapped marine life to the sea.
@patrickcorcoran4828
@patrickcorcoran4828 Год назад
The top of the bin is only ever a centimeter or so below the surface of the water so only things floating on the surface end up in the bin.
