I think the weapon charms should be like service medals and be on your uniform. And if you have all of them from a weapon group (eg shotguns) you should get a completionist medal representing that.

Just a bit of info… your character loads into the match physically when you select a class, that’s why you don’t see people loaded in. They just haven’t selected a class yet.
