NGL, I laugh every time you do the "I waited all day for it to dry" bit. Consistent comedy gold. Love the way you incorporate small but distinct details of each mon into the final build.
Incredible… the thought that every gen 2 Pokémon’s conscience resides within this thing is beyond horrific but as long as I just don’t think about it too much, I absolutely love this thing.
for the record, i totally think you could get away with just representing each _line,_ instead of representing each stage of every line individually. it would still successfully fuse the essence of every pokemon, while allowing for a slightly more cohesive design with fewer details just tacked on somewhere. not that the result you have here isn't amazing!! it is!! my perfectionist brain is just going to work trying to optimize the design
I've considered doing that, I really thought about it in the kanto fusion with Charmander's line, a tail with a flame could have represented that line, but on the other hand, there are lines with very unique characteristics in each stage, like Magikarp and Gyarados and sometimes I want to represent each stage, like Oddish, gloom and vileplume, since it's one of my favorite lines. Although I am also in search of a cohesive design, the chaotic nature that can come from fusing so many elements is something fun that always keeps me in expectation as, honestly, I never know how they will turn out, at this point I feel it's too late to change, I already did the first two evolutions like this, I have to do the rest this way.
@@mgarts1647 yeah that's a good point actually. well hey whenever the next one comes out (and no pressure for that to be soon!) i'll be here to watch it! you seem like a cool guy!
That is such an amazing sculpture monstrosity. I do wish some pokemon were represents a bit more (Mostly Hoothoot, delibird, and croconaw who only got their eyes). I also really like how you used tyranitar's body to make pupitar because it is actually meant to be like a cocoon that tyranitar burst out of.
it's fun how you can see the improvment between the too, but let's be honest both look like a pain to make. Also while it's been a while since i saw the other one, this video feels a lot cleaner and more concise
Omg, I thought the first one was as monstrous as could be...I was, thankfully, very wrong XD Love it man, keep up the amazing, yet horrifying, work! XD
7:05 the milktank edit at the end was so funny! anyways i love how the final product turned out to look somewhat like a biblical figure, cant wait to see your future projects
buddy i am sorry but the people and i demand gen three. I am truly sorry for your future suffering if you do plan to pursue this. (P.s pls make this a series for all the gens.)
It is the most beautiful and the most confusing piece of Pokémon art i have ever seen I am already imaging all those gen 5 mons with the spaceship like kyurem black and white
I just came across this. Instant subscribe love it. Would you ever consider selling sculpts of these creations. Or maybe 3d scans. Some way others can get one.
I won't sell them until I do this for every generation, gotta have that group shot, as for the 3D scans, sure, I don't have the technology for that right now but if I get it I could share these, no problem with that.
This is a monstrosity(positive) and it feels like it shouldnt work as well as it does and yet it remains surprisingly cohesive and very lovely overall, I'll definitely be keeping an eye on your future projects
