I GAMBLED On This Star Wars Set… & LOST :(

I bought a retired set from LEGO Star Wars: The Last Jedi in the hope of getting an awesome minifig. What are my thoughts on this set, why did I buy it for a minifigure, and did I get what I hoped for? Check out the vid to find out.
Why would I go buying a LEGO Star Wars set for a minifigure? Well because I am trying to collect ALL of the LEGO Star Wars minifigs. Why you ask? Well my journey with LEGO started with Star Wars, and minifigures have been my passion from the start but I've really not managed to get too many of them and have lots of gaps in my collection so I'm on the hunt to build my collection.
What's my plan, well I'm hunting them down and buying them and then Steph (aka Mrs Brick'n It) is putting them into blind bags based on the price and I'm opening ten of them every week. Each ten will be like a Pokemon card pack with 6 Common minifigure, 3 uncommon minifigures and one rare! I've been buying in bulk so I really can't remember what we have in the bags ready to open!

I’m so behind watching videos and I’m trying to catch up! Awesome that you’re going to get that figure! I can’t believe how much some of the minifigures go for! I’m a massive Harry Potter fan and I couldn’t believe how much the Weasley Twins cost from the original Diagon Alley set! I thought that was a lot but seeing the prices for some of other figures it’s just crazy!

Hi Mate well done getting this figure. I got the helmet direct from lego. I bought the set directly from lego as it was on "back order" thinking i would receive the new updated figures, i was wrong. I think they only sold the updated set in north america, maybe only in canada. Anyways i sent an email to lego and they sent me the helmet and a slightly different head. Sold the Helmet for £65 on eBay..... wish i got the head

Wait, did you open the box? Mine had the original figure on the outside but Finch Dallow when I opened it to build it.

I actually like the design of the ship itself (maybe not so much the LEGO version), but I agree that it's function (and scene use) in the movie wasn't that great! :)

I haven't watched the video but I already know what happens. I saw one on ebay for around $70 a couple years ago and got Finch Dallow. A great deal especially with the final size of the build, its pretty big. The guy I bought it from had at least a dozen and listed them one at a time and they would sit for awhile, he didn't have finch dallow in the description but it was clearly on the box. I should have bought them all. That movie did suck though, not an awful theatrical experience but a terrible star wars movie. Saw it with my mom too.

I'd honestly be fine if someone reproduced the NY yoda torso on an authentic lego torso. the prices for things are insane and I don't even like NY. If it came in a set or was something from a movie or show I might feel differently.

What the hell did Disney do to star wars. Force awakens was a good start the next two were really really piss poor. They should have given the whole three films to that fat guy from friends/the mandolorian
