@@BakedBongos If I may humbly recommend a few mods to an already great content creator, I recommend “total war Millennium Warfare” it gives the empire WW1 level technology like tanks, rifle companies, machine guns, and lots of artillery. Because why would humans fight magical monsters with swords, use bullets. And if you still want guns, but not have them be as um, overpowered, go with “guns of the empire” that way you still get line infantry, summonable stake walls, hire able dwarven crank gunners or ogryn hand cannon teams, etc, but they aren’t as, well, modern. So they’re a little more balanced. The last one would be the “Unique steam tanks” mod, that gives you a workshop mechanic sort of like the dwarves have, except instead of items you can unlock powerful unique steam tanks to hire

A lot of the times I time it well, or use melee units to lock the formation in place. The ai is stupid, especially if you catch units walking on another or walking away from missile fire/towards your frontline. Can't really open an engagement with it though
