That beekeeper mask was a great idea. The return of the Toot noodle, Key, does his best to avoid the urge to bite it with his nibblers. At least he's helping sky food build their nests with his excess butt fluff. Such a charitable boy 🙂

His Lordship is so generous this time of year, gifting the birds an abundance of snow fluff insulation, aka literally the coat off his back, for their nests before the hard winter arrives. I'd say the hat and netting rig has paid for itself now. Happy holidays. 💖🎄🕯

Wish we'd had that when we had Orion our malamute shepherd mix. We'd brush and brush for months. Wonder how many birds nests had his fluff in them. He was 13 when he walked the rainbow Bridge. Merry Christmas from Phoenix and Chewbacca parents and from Phoenix and Chewbacca too

All of his fluff will be much appreciated by birds and squirrels for their homes. Husky and malamute fluff is warm and sometimes waterproof, so they do enjoy using it. My brother had a husky/malamute/wolf (his sire's sire was half wolf) named Cosmo (aptly named for the cartoon character from Fairly Odd Parents as he was a bit on the ditzy side like the character) and when we defluffed him during the spring, all of the animals in the neighborhood would take away the bits of fluff that clung to the ground and shrubs. May you, your mum "The Biscuit Lady" and Key have a Merry Christmas and a joyous New Year!

Great idea. Wish i had thought of that when i owned my GSD, I used to brush her every 2 days and always got enough fur out to fill a cushion cover. My Mum used to say I come to your house in black linen trousers and i go home in fur trousers. Xx

My dear old late mum had a corgi with a similar shedding problem, once she got past sixteen years old and went deaf she was able to run the vacuum cleaner over her back quite effectively though she used to hate the noise when she was younger.
