They do. I used to work at the axle plant. They do beef the carrier up and internal components, but the axle housing, axles, and ring/pinion are the same.

This video reminds me of when I bought my 1 ton. 95 12 valve, dually, long box, all that good stuff... NOT a small truck. For the first year, I never broke more than about 10 PSI of boost. Like, let's be real, it's a one ton. I bought it for hauling coal, not hauling ass. Then one night, I was driving back from a friends place in Edmonton with my GF and this guy in a hummer pulls up and reaches out his window, pounds his door panel and yells "LIGHT EM UP!". I yelled back "This trucks probably 10 thousand pounds, it's not lighting nothing". And I was wrong. I guess there's a reason the previous previous (as in, the guy before the guy I bought it from) had the big fancy gauge cluster on there with boost that goes up to 40+ PSI, pyro and such. Not gunna lie, it surprised me. 4 black strips until I finally got out of the pedal. For years I thought to myself "That's the fastest 165hp truck I've ever seen". Well, lo and behold, when I had the pump redone, they called me back about a week later and said "Can you send us all the original innards for that pump if you still want it stock?" (I told them it was stock). Turns out that truck wasn't even remotely stock. I can't imagine how much fun the cummins would be in real life if you just got carried away like this.
And now here I am in Germany, where anything even remotely to do with modification on the car has to be put in the cars papers and those have to be with you in the car, otherwise it's illegal to drive and can get you your car impounded and possibly wrecked, if the cops decide so.
@@xpectthedeath :o Holy hell, that sucks man! :/ But, I suspect much of the reason it's fine here is simply due to not having smog problems. Our population density in Canada is just stupid low. Like, there's places where you could set off 10,000 pounds of dynamite and NO one else would know or hear it. Lol. In fact, I dare say there's more places like that than not.
I've been following since you showed that F350 ob's and I think it would be sweet to show a video of that truck again and show what you've done or make videos on it either Cummins swap or maybe do something different with it but you never disappoint with your videos keep up the good work man!

Hey Westen, after your done with mustang. Why not go back to your Peterbilt and add more power. Twin turbos to it. Maybe enter some those heavy pulls. See how much truck can haul/pull :). Keep up the good work.
