@@sonor72 Same, I find it weird that we've heard so many bad things yet not one single person actually says what they do or have done that is specifically bad. Like if it's actually that bad, it would be worth saying why instead of vague-posting warnings to seem mysteriously informed.

You’ll now get constant spam and emails off them. I bought a couple of pedals just to see and they’ve been relentless. Mark something as spam or junk and they just use another email address to send from. Happy with what I got, the after sales is appalling. Let me know it you have the same
I've bought quite a bit from them. Fishing tackle, household goods, wife's stuff too. Never had a problem with deliveries, payments or unsolicited emails.
Never had a problem with temu had a loads of stuff off them, crazy how people read something and jump on the bandwagon, im sure there a lots of huge companies with pristine business practices… come on

didn't expect a youtube expert to buy a chibson from temu which is a company with very shady business practices. remember when there 's a big discount, there's always a catch. on these words of wisdom good viewing.
They don't even use the right type of file in that fret end file. You don't want to use coarse cross hatched files like that, rather a mill file where the lines on the file all go in one direction. Makes a much smoother cut with way less work to clean up and polish after beveling. Not to mention a file that aggressive makes the odds of accidentally going too far into the finish go way up.
Worst company you coulda partnered with. And if you were more honest about it I WOULD say “hope this doesn’t hurt your reputation” but it looks like even respectable people can be bought.
Trogly, you are free to partner with whomever you want but this company is shady as can be. I do not think it looks good on you that you are sponsored by them, it is a very unscrupulous company and should be avoided. With this video you allow (even encourage) your viewers to get f'ed for monetary gain. Would probably recommend to delete this.
Austin, I love watching ur show. I think I watch every episode. But I always skip the playing demo. Rason for it being, I discovered you have a style of playing that make em all sound the same. And even this guitar, It's hard to believe, but it doesn't sound any different than some of the high end guitars you demo. Love ur show, not ur playing, I guess ❤
Same. Partly his playing, but I think it's mainly the type and amount of gain Trogly uses that makes everything sound the same, I think it sounds overly compressed. My favorite thing about Trogly's videos is how he disassembles and inspects every instrument and takes neck measurements.
Can't watch the playing. It's the same riffs every single video. You'd think instead of buying so many guitars he'd take a least a couple of lessons, or figure how to use the amp.
@@BIZARBIES: if the purpose is to demo the *sound* of an instrument compared to *other* instruments, doesn't it make sense to play the same riffs through the same setup with the same mic position and same settings every single time? Wouldn't any other comparison effectively be apples and oranges because you'd be introducing spurious variables? If you want to hear different riffs, go watch music videos.
@@BIZARBIES: I think that's a fair observation, too - I don't think that electric guitars with similar electronic setups sound as distinctive as guitar players have convinced themselves that they do once you hear the recorded signal isolated from the acoustic sound that the player perceives from the instrument in hand. I think it's a fair idea that he can use the same "demo" riffs briefly in each video but then maybe vary them throughout the rest of the demo, but I suppose when you're cranking out content as quickly as he does, maybe it's not feasible.
RU-vidr's just can't resist that sweet, sweet Temu money for pimping out their sketchy app. I bought something from them a couple of years back, and then my CC started buying shit left and right that wasn't ordered by me. Taylor Danley did a review of a Temu guitar but he was at least honest about Temu and their shady business practices. I have to say I'm quite disappointed in Trogly today.

@@Trog Well that's interesting. I'm using a Chrome extension called "Return RU-vid Dislike" which shows all the dislikes since YT disabled that feature. But, I do agree on the 1786 likes, as I am seeing that number as well.
I mean id rather get my information stolen from a shady porn site than temu. But i get it, if someone offered me a cheap guitar and a few other goodies id let them mail it to me for my time, especially if they gave me some of that extra cheese aka paid me. Some RU-vidrs buy cheap guitars and make them cooler and more functional in a tasteful, satisfying way, then donate them. Trogly buys one and makes the abomination WORSE, then plays an E chord with distortion. He probably threw it away. Sigh. I guess I’m happy he finally found the perfect instrument for his skill level, but sad he couldn’t appreciate it for what it was. Guess you really can’t buy taste or talent.
This was a super fun video to watch haha. My only issue is with temu. They are a terrible company from all I’ve heard so I hope you don’t have to deal with a bunch of bs with your email, Trogly.
I bet some heads are gonna roll at the temu factory after trog’s critiques. Hopefully there is a child labor union willing to stand up for the 8 year old who left some screws loose after a long day at work.
And always remember guys: It's OK to drive a car with 3/4 of all parts beeing from China, it's also OK to stuff your kitchen with all available electronic goodies from China and for sure Epihones are OK too. Everything is fine as long as the brand is well known even to Dumbie Potthead no matter where it's built. But... YOU HAVE TO AVOID TEMU AND ALI EXPRESS! THOSE ARE FROM HELL!
