Over the past 15 years I have had: 4 hair transplants (2 follicular extractions and 2 grafts) Taken every hair medication and OTC treatment. Undergone 3 rounds of microscalp pigmentation. Plasma injections, blood infusions. Derma rollers. Endless laser treatments. Spent over 40k total. And after it's all said and done, I have about a 70% coverage of hair on my head. Was it worth it in the end? Absolutely. And I'll never stop. I'll keep going. I love having hair and I married a dime. Totally worth it. Would I have looked good bald? Yes. But do I look better with hair? Yes. And that's the point. Always strive for better. Don't ever let anyone convince you to settle. Always go the extra step.
Hej can I ask you how you managed to get 4 hair transparent I’ve gotten 1 with 4000grafts and by doner hair is thin so not even sure if I should get the 2.
how and why u needed 4 hair transplants. I sure would like to see your donor area. Most people get two max. Probably 3 if need topping up if you have sufficient hair in your donor area.
Damn man 4 transplants? lol.. you most really really want your hair.. I mean the hair system some of it could work even better than you think it's.. some of it look natrual... I dunno a lot of my friends have it and been years with it and they look natural and fine....
It takes a lot of courage to talk about all this. Anyone who is not affected by this problem will not understand it, and it affects so many men. I understand you as much as possible. I hope that sharing this has brought you some relief. All the best to you. Greetings from Poland. May the Lord God bless you. Thank you for the effort you put into this video.
Thank you for acknowledging that! I agree. Those who haven't experienced hair loss can't fully grasp the pain and challenges involved. Oh! And I don't even think about hair anymore. I wanted to share my story to help others make the best decision for themselves.
Adults seem to forget the simplest thing in life we learned as children. Those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind. It's all about perspective. You care to much about what others think of you.
what others think about determines every aspect of our lives, employment, dating etc. everything involves other people so their view of you matters. keep lying to yourself peter pan
Wow, so honest! In my family, most men lost their hair, but didn't seek any type of treatment (for different reasons). I never asked them how they felt about it... but currently, I have some friends who have had hair transplants and they told me about their insecurities with their self-image and so I learned to look at it more sensitively. These are very individual questions, which involve how you feel about what happens and the resources you have to deal with it. Congratulations on the video!
Great video Payam. I've been thinking about ht for quite some time now. You've answered some questions I wondered about. I still have some things to think about but I really appreciate your thoroughness, and honesty. Take care.
1:20 Did you know antidepressants and SSRI meds have higher rates of sexual dysfunction than finasteride? Why doesn't anyone ever talk about that? How do we know what other meds finasteride users were on such as antidepressants? Also Erectile Dysfunction is quite common even for people not taking finasteride! The fear mongering of finasteride seriously needs to stop
In my view, you look fine the way you are. You may not be rocking a full head of hair but you still look good. But, I'm also a lot older than you are and if I had been losing my hair in my 20's, without the technology there is today, I would have lost it. I say this as a 60 year old man who has had a transplant, takes oral minoxidil/Propecia daily, does the Red light helmet and dermarolls 2x per month. Yes, I'm that paranoid of losing my hair. I couldn't, and still can't let it go. For a guy my age, I still have a lot of hair--but it comes with a lot of effort and consistency. I haven't had any side effects so far taking minoxidil/propecia. Like you mentioned, everyone's different. My three brothers (all bald) simply let it go--and they're fine that way. I had to fight it all the way. That's me.
There's never guarantees in life but what people should also be aware of is that without a DHT blocker such as finasteride this will ultimately be the outcome for many unless you're way later in life that's why it's usually wise to try that medication first see if it's compatible with you and whether it works and that will help you in making this decision
This is so useful to hear 🙏. I’m 42, still have quite a bit of hair, buts it’s gradually receding slowly in a similar way to yours, I always looked great with a shaved head when my hair line was thicker, but less so now, would totally have a hair transplant even if to just eventually mean I’d have a hair line that would suit a buzz cut
My brother is in Turkey now and waiting to get picked up for hair transplant surgery. He was so unsure if he was going to do it but after watching this video he is going for it. His biggest concern was that it would look bad if he wore his hair short. 😊
I think your mistake was not taking the pill. You were so afraid of side affects that it ultimately made you lose your remaining hair. With hair transplant and maintenance such as min and fin you woukd have been in a great place but then again, if I ever reach your age, hair on my head or no hair wouldn't be a big deal for me
Hair transplant require several procedures, spanning several years. Its a project. Its almost never a 1 and done. You need several passes of hair at 35 grafts per cm to reach a proper density. More passes if you have fine hair caliber.
You have to take Propecia or it just isn’t worth it. Rogain is a hair growth stimulant but it does nothing to prevent further hair loss as you age. That is why Propecia is necessary. I have taken it since I was 20…I’m 46 now. It’s the easiest thing in the world to do to maintain the hair you have left. Do I have sexual side effects from it…I don’t really think so. But I’ve been on it so long I can’t really say for sure. But also even if I do have them to some extent, I don’t care. Having hair is so much more important to me. I will never stop taking it. Within the last few years I started PRP and that got me to an even better place, but that also is an investment and you have to be willing to do the maintenance PRP treatments. I hope I’ll never need a hair transplant, but if I do, there is no way I’d ever stop taking Propecia at this point.
Hello, when shaven like this can you see the incisions at the back of your head, and can you spot the follicules on the top, or is it natural looking? Thks
Hi my name is Ferenc. I get my hair transplant in 2022 december 10. Now my hair looks good. It took longer to grown the hairs than i expected but i think its worth it.
I feel you bro,i feel exactly like you.I kind of regret doing the first operation, cause i need second one,and if i don't do it i will look even more ridiculous. My donor area noe looks like shit, can't imagine after second one i will have to shave the sides and back just to grow in top and even then it won't have te density i want, cause of my genetics and ane then we go back to shaving head again as i did prior having HT.I had to do more research.I thought donor area will heal and will not be visible, but it is pretty bad in my case.So not to smoke weed, which is something i love, and can't do that not to hinder results, can't drink and for what? For some meh results? I'm really getting pissed of really hard by now, honestly and in reality couldn't care less anymore about my fucking looks, will shave the fucking head and go with the flow and will do whatever i like in life.At least i tried. Can't fix my shittie genetics.
For me it's just too much work having to use those products AFTER the transplant. Definitely don't wanna use anything that can fuck with my body either. Get in shape and shave it boys.. most women have no problem dating a bald guy, but they do have a problem dating a bald-ing guy who thinks he can mask it. Get the Jason Statham look and start approaching women.
I had my first hair transplant in December 2022.1 year after I had insane results and long strong hair but here 1 and a half year after I almost lost it all again not sure why this has happened. But thinking about getting the 2.
@@bensmith9175 hej yes i was taking it But desided to stop as the gains was not that good anymore. But stopping it was a huge mistake.i just started it again here 2 weeks ago but don’t think I’m gonna get my hair back.
@@arob184 that's the biggest lie they tell you. Some men who are balding may advance all the way into the so called donor area which means those hair transplanted will fall. The trauma from the surgery all quicken the balding process in some men unfortunately.
Ya u definitely tried almost everything. But The one thing that truly stops, and even reverses hair loss for many people is finasteride and dutasteride. My brother was losing his hair recently and it all grew back completely full again. It’s crazy how thick his hair is now. Hes very very happy and had zero side effect sexually or anything like that.

This is not true though. Even transplanted hair can fall out again, depending on how high the clinic has gone in your donor area. Everyone's hair loss is different due to genetics. It is difficult to predict exactly how far your hair loss will progress during hair transplantation. So if you progress to a Norwood 7 or 6 and you have hair taken from above it, which is quite possible with FUE, it can easily happen that these transplanted hairs will also fall out at some point.
Besides, I don't know what you mean by 100 % here. Of course, not 100 % of the transplanted hair falls out. But if you meant by your comment that transplanted hairs 100 % don't - i.e. never - fall out, I don't agree with you.
SMP fades over short period of time and you need a touch up every year or so. The other major problem with SMP is when your out in the sun, it simply disappears.
There's nothing wrong with being bald.. you only worry because you think you will be judged for it or how you will look. You just need to become confident with it 😊
As a bald guy myself, I hear you. But I've decided a long time ago to just own the bald look, I knew years ago that I would probably go bald, my father was bald and my grandfather on my mother's side was bald, so I had kind of accepted it from a young age, my cousin who was adopted, never even thought he would go bald but it happened. Look you just have to accept it. Some woman will not date bald guys and some will, it just the way it is. From what I can gather if you are too self-conscious about it that's a total turn off for most women. Just own it. Be strong guys. O yea don't do the whole comb over thing.....👴🧑🦲
