That's obviously part of the point, I wouldn't hire someone that isn't willing to conform, as an employer why would I decide to hire someone that goes "fuck the rules, I'll do it my way", this applies to other managers, sometimes they will ask you to do something that doesn't make much sense to you but you're not hired to think for yourself on a lower-end job, you're just payed to listen and do.This also depends on the position that is trying to get filled obviously.
